Hey All, Im not dead I swear

I got a new PC and Patreon locked me out of my account for a few days because it didn't recognize my new computer which was lame but got that fixed. Its been a while since my last update journal entry, I apologize for that.

I'm not dead, but I certainly felt like it a lot in recent months.  Sorry I haven't been very active on my galleries, I have been relativly active on Twitter though.  It's been a very difficult year, for everyone not just me obviously but it's been a lot ha...

who wanted to see Vicki with a bigger butt like Lisa. Not sure why I colored a starry background I didn't feel like drawing a boring counter but the joke is that Vicki turned around and accidently bumped her massive posterior against the counter, worried she knocked the cake on the ground turns around to find her cake missing unaware that it slid onto her shelf of a butt lol 

Its a silly idea, I also experimented a little with the coloring.

Meant to be a quickie pic of the two Tawna's but I tried to draw those boxes by hand rather then use the strait line tool and that was a big mistake lol

Was also going to add some text but think its pretty self explanatory.

Halloween

While most of my attention is on getting the Kickstarter for ONLY IN LEGEND launched I don't want to forget to do something fun for Halloween. Does anyone have any fun Halloween drawing ideas they'd like to see me draw?

A belated Birthday present for Volkenfox of one of his characters from his upcoming game State Of Flux.   I've lost track of the days with everything going on so its quite a few days late till I was able to finish it.

Don't really have a title for it,  I wanted to fix the snow before posting it but with the fires getting closer might not have time if I have to evacuate suddenly. I don't think it will hit Portland but its 2020 I wouldn't be surprised at this point. Stay safe everyone <3

Who are you really?

 I wanted to do it differently then how this type of pic was done in SOF and TPF. So instead of having the transformations behind the main character I did this thing where Vicki is crying and magical flame is emanating from her and these possible versions of her are shapes coming out of the fire.

There's tons of symbolism/symbolic imagery in the game, from the characters names to their species and what colors they are and wear, alot of it has deeper meaning. This pic was mostly...

Bear in mind that this is a WIP and that these designs are still very much likely to change over the course of the games development.
But here's a group pic of some of Vicki's possible progressions and transformations in the game.
Each character has a set of themes that effect their progressions and Transformations and since Vicki is a huge fantasy and video game geek her theme is RPG classes.

Human Krystal

It was only supposed to be a sketch but then "Oh I should clean it u....Well maybe it wont look good with flats... Fuck it, let their be light and shadow"

This isn't the first time I've tried to draw a human version of Krystal but its been a long time and they never turn out very well, until now that is.

Trailer Text Card WIP

 This is just an example, a visual aid if you will that I whipped up for the dev team to explain how I want the text cards to work.   It will look a lot better in the final draft, smoother and less fuzzy cause it wont be a gif lol

Just imagine music and narration to go with it, I think its going to turn out really good.

Shouldn't be much longer till the Kickstarter finally launches :)

Title sequence WIP

Is a bit fast but here's a little sneak peak at the title sequence for the trailer.
This was just a quick example I threw together to show to Rourkie who will do a better job in the final product. But imagine the music dying down and maybe narration I think it will turn out quite good when its all said and done, really want to leave on a high note and leave people excited about the game and hungry for more.

My computer has been kinda glitchy today and I almost lost a huge chunk of progress. Luckily Clip Studio Paint's back up recover system worked and I didnt lose anything but it was really scary because while it was recovering it froze.  

But it worked out in the end.   

This is still a work in progress as theres bits to tidy up and a few more details and lights to add,

Cheetah girl design

Character concept design for Only In Legend. Sometimes you don't really know how somethings going to look until you add some color to the image.  Kinda digging it but could still use some work.

First Vicki

While digging around for a blank notebook to practice my Japanese lessons, I found some lost treasure.  

I found what might be one of if not thee first drawings of Vicki ever. I used to keep a tablet of notebook paper for each of my story or art idea's and I would keep notes & doodles in. I thought this one was lost like the others or that maybe my cousin had it cause she really wanted to color the characters as you can see lol She also wrote some of the text with fancier hand...

O I L Discord Server

I'm still figuring it out but I created a Discord server for my visual novel game in development Only In Legend for when the Kickstarter launches.    

I had thought about creating a discord for my Patreon a while back but I'm kinda glad I didn't because Patreon doesn't really like that kind of thing anymore.

So when it comes time to finally launch the Kickstarter Ill post an invite link here and if you wanna come join your more then welcome to, some of you I know...

It was a bit of a challenge but thankfully some friends helped me out and were able to fix an issue with the color quality of the gif, now it looks  so much better :)

Character Card Example

Not much just an example of what the character cards are going to look like.  The text will be to the right of the character under the name.  For the life of me I cant remember if that font is safe for me to use or not but  besides that I think its looking pretty good. It was tedious but I had a lot of fun making the designs.

Another trailer WIP  this one is newer that I'm throwing in so its still very much a work in progress.

I love drawing characters sleeping, its so cute.

I always forget how to draw and color grass so I've been trying to avoid it cause it will always look different, its very frustrating lol

July 1st

Just a little reminder and heads up that Patreon is implementing their new sales tax rules tomorrow July 1st.   I live in Oregon which doesn't have sales tax and normally the rule is that  you charge sales tax from the state which your "purchasing" from, if you buy something in Oregon theres nothing to charge.  However the new rules that patreon is using is that sales tax rates are applied based on where you the patrons live instead of what state the creator lives.

Trailer WIP Unleashed

Been awhile since I gave an update on the progress for my game Only In Legend.  
Pretty much all the art for the trailer is done with the exception of the title sequence, cause like a dufus I wanted to make it cool artistic and overly complicated Lol

Its  very possible the kickstarter will launch July, I don't want to be to specific just in case we get struck by an asteroid or something in the meantime because this year has been relentless.
