First Look - CGR Laser Bathysphere

Greetings patrons! Enjoy the first look at Classic Game Room - Farewell and Thanks for the Laser Bathysphere issue #1. These are rough page storyboards.

For a long list of reasons I decided to take my original novel script and convert it into a comic book. One reason is that I like the concept and plot a lot, but so much of it is visual and deep-space related, or time-travel, or universe hopping... makes a good comic book as long as I can justify drawing it.

Friends and neighbors and random drunken dolphin friends - Robot Kitten Factory 2 is so close! SO CLOSE TO BEING DONE!

Were it not for the fact that I'm supervising the layout and cover design for like 83 other books this would have been done 10 times over but the wait will be worth it. It's so good! I love the Robot cats and the team of soldiers who will eventually form the.... well, you'll see.

Anyway, this NOT final, not QA'd yet, but pretty close. I'm doing the finishing text ...

It's RKF2 Finishing Time!

It's time to finally wrap up the details and release Robot Kitten Factory #2! Pictured on this post are some 99% complete pages without text or sound effects. These are the final works from Procreate on their way to finishing in Photoshop.

I'm wrapping the book up this week. Like usual it ran behind as I completed a few other projects in July, but it's on the Wacom this week and getting polished.

Ethel 3 art update, RKF2

As it turns out I had some more work done last year on Ethel the Cyborg Ninja 3 than I thought, and I dug it out and finished writing it over the weekend. Sometimes taking a break from a project is the best way to really finish it because the script turned out better when I re-imagined a few things.  Cosmic Death Brick joins the book and it is awesome.

Hello everyone! Some good news and bad news, well not that bad. Just annoying. I’ll start with kinda bad. My laptop died. OH NO! Not a big deal, no data loss and I have like two other computers and an iPad, but it was my writing computer and I don’t want to deal with installing word on another machine on a Friday afternoon. New ETHEL 3 Artwork!

Ethel the Cyborg Ninja 3 is moving along slowly but surely. One of the first pages is nearly complete with dialog.

First Look, ETHEL 3

Ethel the Cyborg Ninja #3 is in production. The very first page was roughed up today and you get to see it first!

Once again I'm working primarily in Procreate with Photoshop finishing work. You'll be seeing a lot of updates here as they appear. Issue 3 really sets the story in motion after the events in issue 1 and 2. Trebley Fruxlin returns (as pictured) and all hell breaks loose, again.
