I may or may not have put considerable effort to hide the toes because I could not draw them good for some reason.

Couple of things I thought I'd comment on. The second panel has a couple of experiments in it. The first is perspective, they're supposed to look like they're coming at you as Toph hovers over you. And the asymmetric expression. She's pulling her lip to her left as she gets more and more in to it. I have to admit I wasn't sure quite what to do with Azula, and it kind of just started to look like Toph was starting to dominate, so I lean in to that over the next couple of pages.

Edit: so I made quite a few adjustments. I adjusted the panels. I do like it when panels overlap for the sake of depth, but it wasn't working here. I also added in some legs to help contextualize where she is and what she's doing. I also redrew the booba to feel softer as she buries her arm in to it.

Edit, I moved the head. While I'd love to show more of her expression, the fact is, at that angle if the head were in that position her neck would be broke... or detached.
Took an extra day with this because I knew it could be really good. You would not believe how hard it was to get the hands just right lol
This isn't exactly in line with the original thumb, but when I tried to sketch the original thumb it just didn't look right, so their position changed. The perspective was a huge pain, and I'm not sure that it has the impact that I want. I referenced one of my older pieces for the perspective. A picture I did of Panda. Much of the anatomy is referenced from Hitomi Tanaka.

Apologies for the week off last week, but the COVID 19 vaccine hit me particularly hard. Its frustrating because I was knocked out for a few days, but everyone else I talk to had nothing happen to them.
