Haha, ok, Kyde found two things that need new homes too. Her Kuro Neko shirt from Okinawa and a big stuffed whale named Lemon China she won at a street game in Seoul. First person to say they want "Lemon China" or "T-shirt" gets them! The shirt is a child sized 150, whatever that means. Basically, it's really small, about 55cmx40cm.

We headed north of Tokyo to Ibaraki to find out what it has to offer. Quite a bit apparently, on our first day we found an awesome slide, a beautiful waterfall, picked some blueberries and had some super fresh Natto! Plus more stuff! Enjoy!!

Expect a change in our production quality for the coming Europe series. We are excited to learn how to actually use cameras properly, hahaha.
For those wondering about the gear: It's a Canon EOS M6 with a Rode VideoMicro mic. The lenses are all Canon M series, I'll detail them below. The Canon M6 is not perfect for our needs, but it's really close. It is reasonably sized, physically durable, has a mic input (huge plus) and has a 180-degree flip screen. I've been thinking about buying this...
October was a ton of fun! We got to spend time with our friend Tom which is something we've been looking forward to for a long time. Our friends Victor and Charlie from Yummy Japan asked us to join them for an evening at an "interesting izakaya" run by Mark, a quirky Japanese man that has been running an establishment in Shimbashi for years. Mark turned out to be an amazing comedian/host who has turned the dance between absolute absurdity and kindness into an art. If you come to Tokyo, we'd really recommend spending a crazy evening with him at Kagaya.
