Strange Pets Week! Up until we went on our RTW trip, Eric didn't eat pork and there was a very adorable reason why. When he was growing up, he had a pet pig name Winney. I wish I could have been there to see them playing and hanging out. Winney used to sleep in Eric's bed and would hop in the shower to get clean every day!

Strange Pets Week! This might not seem strange to some people, but Kyde had a turtle named Mr. Bojangles when she was in college. This turtle didn't just sit in a cage and float around. He was more like a dog and roamed the house. He could climb up stairs (2 at the most) and could open the screen door to go outside. We just watched Clerks earlier this week! Such a good movie. It made me remember this picture of Eric where he actually went to New Jersey and found the Quick Stop! He is on the left in the picture, if you couldn't find the epic tall guy. Sorry for the small picture. Cameras just weren't awesome then or something. This week is a combination Kyde and Eric fact! The first picture shows us at Kyde's brother's wedding back in 2002. We were both in the wedding party and actually walked down the aisle together. Never would have thought then that we would be getting married to each other 9 years later. The second picture is a little treat about our actual wedding. We had our wedding (the whole thing, not just a reception) at a Greek restaurant. Our wedding cake was baklava! So delicious!

Eric was a 4-H kid when he was little. Kyde was as well, but not to the extent that Eric seems to have reached! For those that don't know 4-H, it is an agriculture group that sets up event for kids to get interested in agriculture hobbies and careers. Eric's parents owned a farm, so it makes sense that Eric might have had the best pig at the Mother Lode Fair! Knowing him now, it makes no sense at all though! This picture always makes me laugh! Mother Lode??? Really?

Bit of a long one, but here goes! Since Kyde was little, she's always slept with silk-edge blankets. She would put the silk between here fingers and toes because it felt so nice. Doing this for years has caused her to always associate this action with sleeping. So, now whenever she puts silk between her fingers or toes she gets sleepy really quickly.
