The Mage's Tower v1.0!

Hey folk!

Aaaand it's time! The Mage's Tower v.1.0 is here!

This is the full version of the game. It contains all the content planned for it so far and, with it, it is complete!

Now, there are a bunch more things I could add to The Mage's Tower, but this was meant to be a quick prototype game for me to learn this new tool and format and boy, I did learn a lot! It was a great experience, even though 'quick' turned out to be 4 months ...

Regarding Patreon leaks and posting in general

I wanted to write out some of my thoughts in light of recent events. I saw that, in some of those creator Patreon leak websites, my Patreon was leaked as well for the art content, the latest Mage's Tower version, etc. Now, when I saw it... I was kind of flattered! It's not really the first time it happens, but it's been a while since anyone thought my Patreon was worth leaking! I must be doing something right, kind of! :D

Story Draft: Sating the Hunger

Updated art and assets for The Mage's Tower!

Hey folk!

Small update today! The Mage's Tower development is going kinkily smooth, and alongside it, the assets are getting done! I have a few plans of improving the overall final look of the game with these and I hope it'll pay off the investment by making it even more awesome!

For now, you guys get a preview of how they're looking so far! This is still kind of WIP and some of them might change when they get to the game, but so far, this is how it's looking. x)

To close it off well, I am commissioning a few pieces of art to enhance it and I just received the initial work in progress pieces. I love it, and I thought I'd share it with my awesome supporters. :)

Finally!

Took long enough, but after a whole lot of development, polishing, coding, image manipulating and especially writing... the first HALF of my prototype game is here for all patrons!

Higher Patreon tier game rewards

Hey folk!

Over the last few weeks I've been thinking long and hard about what rewards I can give higher tier patrons when it comes to game content. With stories, my higher patrons can see the draft file as soon as I START writing a story so that they can keep up with the development of it if they want, but for the game that doesn't quite work. The story is branched and reading it in a file out of order and without interactions would be nothing but confusing.

Hey folk!

Some of you already noticed that a lot of old posts from my Patreon are gone!

This is intended. I got hit with the 'against Patreon's policies and guidelines' hammer this week and my Patreon was intercepted. I had to delete all posts that even so much as hinted towards anything non-consensual, etc and all in order to keep this going and I did. That's why a lot of stuff is gone! I apologize for that and if it caused any inconvenience.

Whew! Alright, I just wanted to write this to be transparent! Some of you that follow me on Twitter might have seen, but last week I was suddenly struck with a sudden fever (among other things) that really knocked me down. I don't know if it was COVID or not, I didn't test it, I just isolated and had a lot of rest, but boy, that thing knocked me down good!

Devlog 1: Prototype game creation
