Amaya just turned 19 and got some hair extensions put in for her birthday and was eager to shoot with it. So her and I popped into the studio just before valentines day to shoot a few concepts, one of which was this super pink theme with this outfit I picked up on Amazon. This was an ezpz setup with a pink splash of light on the right and a large soft sheet to fill in the rest.

Amaya - Valentines

I really like how these colors came out with Amaya for this v-day themed shoot. I've not really known my work to be so color bold. Amaya is still working out well, we communicate a lot of ideas through DMs before hitting the studio which makes it waayyy easier to execute themes. Another reminder: she doesn't do nudes, but she has expressed an interest in doing so in the future.

Say hello to Ash! We linked up on a model/photographer site and she, a huge horror/goth fan, rocked this pink-as-fuck scene. Her modeling style is a throwback for me, reminds me of those Calvin Klein ads back in the 90s with this 'idgaf' and super laid back demeanor. I brought it up during our shoot and she was like "YES, EXACTLY" haha. Her and I got along hecka good, I can see us working together more this year for sure.

I was ill prepared for a duet shoot, especially from two models who are primarily dancers AND not particularly intimate haha. We shot another duet shoot after this for the v-day scene where I was slightly more prepared to give some direction, but for now y'all get tangled leg hugs.

Amaya has such an overwhelming amount of energy in such a banging little package. For this set we layered a few pieces of black mesh and stretchy clothing and ended up with a damn sexy outfit. Amaya brought some A+ poses and that cute booty cheek spread thing that no one is complaining about. Lay - Mesh

Lay came along with Amaya as a chaperone, which isn't uncommon for new models. She was so into hyping up Amaya during her session that it was easy to convince her to join in! She wasn't ready to go topless so I put some electrical tape across her boobs and we called that good. I was perfectly happy that she was willing to model at all, let alone leaving so little to the imagination with what she picked haha.

Bria - Props

I love working with this girl, she's got a tender and lowkey bubbly personality but it's HARD to capture that on film when most of what we shoot is very moody. So the last scene we shot for this day, I dumped a bunch of props out and told her to go nuts playing with some and LO AND BEHOLD we got some cute fucking pictures out of the deal. I'm gonna remember this next time I book her, gonna bring her in for over-the-top fun character shoots where she can just be goofy.

You know, I left my 35mm 1.4 lens on Lindsay's farm and shes like 200 miles away lol. Here however, I used my 85mm 1.8 canon as I stood across the street next to my truck that was haphazardly parked in what was likely some farmer's driveway. This was a fun morning, if I can hobble along a bit longer without my 35, I'd like to go out there again in the spring and get some pics when everything is in bloom (and of Lindsay too, if she's still modeling 😶)

Happppyy Holidays! I used my AI skills to make some portraits for the family this year and thought it might be cool to spin off a few extras inspired by models I've worked with. This was very last minute (I just finished now) so there are TONS of errors, but it was still fun to conceptualize and execute the whole project.

This was a quick fun set we shot while driving around Lindsay's property. We even went out to the road to shoot those HELLA cliche middle-of-the-street-on-a-foggy-morning shots.. we couldn't help it but we're not sorry because we were cracking up. It was like how cops roll up on someone and dudes jump out and go right into action, that was us at 6am but with cameras, coffee and cliche-tography.

Charle Jay - Spotlight

Y'all Charlé is HOT and is SO good in front of the camera. I'll never not work with her when she's in town tbh. I've got some notes on this shoot, tho, the dress she's wearing actually belonged to @bellaburke , whom I shot alongside MkBlondie several years ago.
