Maomao - The Apothecary Diaries

Haven't vibed with much anime for a while but this is one of the ones that started getting me back into it. It's a really well done historical mystery drama, if any of you were interested in checking it out some time.

Finally finished! I haven't driven myself up the wall working on a drawing this much in a while. For some reason I ended up fussing over a lot of things while working on this.

Edit: ended up adding some stuff to the background and removing the white on the bottom

Edit 2: Changed Jun's aura. Friend recommended making is asymmetrical so it would look more dynamic and it looks so much better

Working on the shading/details now. Was making sure the foreground and background difference looked alright and I liked how it was turning out.
