Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - Palace Theme [Revision]

I'm really proud of some of the orchestration/part writing in this one! I'm glad I could include some references to my first arrangement, such as the cello countermelody at 0:32 and the more forceful shift to Dorian in some of the main verses. I don't know why I chose to do it, but 1:31 was a little nod to BotW. Maybe it's my subconscious hope that Tears of the Kingd...

Fire Emblem Awakening - Don't Speak Her Name!

I can hardly believe it, but I was actually able to finish up this piece in a reasonable amount of time!

I've wanted to cover this track since this channel's creation, but I've always been limited by sample technology or my own lack of experience. Not to mention, this piece is huge! Here are some fun facts about my arrangement:

A Quick Note About This Month's Poll Winner

Don't Speak Her Name! from Fire Emblem Awakening won this month's new arrangement poll and I am super excited to finally make a cover of it! It is also a behemoth of a piece of music, so I wanted to set expectations a little and let everyone know that it might take a little longer than normal to get this one back out to you.

My original arrangement was much more light and whimsical, but this time around I've gone for something a bit more bombastic! It turned out to be quite challenging to balance the dynamics and fine-tune the more exposed instruments.

Super Mario 64 - Dire, Dire Docks

That was a close poll! It makes sense that this track won though, this may be one of the most iconic VGM tracks out there! I worked really hard to get this track done for tomorrow - the timing as well as the gravity around this song made this quite the challenge! Hopefully my arrangement does it justice! :^)

I'm hoping to release a Mario track on March 10th! Which one should it be? 

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Hyrule Field

I have so many memories of early Zelda music, but there's something about this theme that feels the most nostalgic. This nostalgia made it so difficult to settle on a proper arrangement/mix, I must have spent hours fine tuning details that I later scrapped altogether. But in the end, I hope I settled on a cover you'll all enjoy! This currently is the most challenging thing I've worked on this year, and I hope it shows! 

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks - Realm Overworld [Revision]

I'm so excited to finally be able to share this one! My previous rendition of Realm Overworld was released 5 years ago on August 7th, 2017. It felt almost cathartic to be able to go back and build this from the ground up again. That Banjo VST from Orange Tree Samples is the best, and it was fun to do some part writing for Fretless Bass! Games like Chrono Cross were a clear inspiration. 

2023 Commission Pricing Updates!

Hello Patrons! 

This year I wanted to take another pass at my base commission prices. More specifically, I wanted to lower the cost of the "Streamed" audio criteria. While covering/transcribing tracks from modern games can be difficult, I think I overshot the price of that category by too much. >.<

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest - Mining Melancholy

It's done! This has to be the most difficult arrangement I've done in a long time. Meticulously recreating all of the percussive metal hits was a nightmare. I was only satisfied when I EQ-Matched some of my metal hit samples with the original SNES samples. I think it turned out ok!
