I’m currently stuck on my couch with both legs in purple casts. Let me tell you, this is not how I imagined my week going.

For context, I’m a tailor, and my shop is my happy place. I love creating and altering garments for my clients, but I also like to keep my shop looking fresh and cozy. Recently, I found this beautiful fabric and decided I’d make custom curtains for the front window. They turned out perfect (not to brag), and I was so excited to hang them up.

So, this happened about a week ago, and my leg is still in a cast. I'm an antique dealer, and my shop is my pride and joy. I specialize in rare vintage furniture and small treasures that have stories older than the buildings around here. Anyway, last week, I got this stunning 200-year-old mahogany desk at an estate sale. It was heavy as sin, but I was determined to move it into my shop on my own because, well, "I can handle it" (famous last words).
