A lot of experimenting with new techniques in this piece here. I said on the WIP post that I really needed practice injecting life and action into a scene, so this is a combination of almost every way I could think of to do that. Comments on ways I could have done it better are welcome.

My more explicit scenes have always really lacked life because they were so static. I added some action indicators after the fact to that last halloween commission at the request of the client, but I wanted to do a piece that intends action from the start. This is principally practice of those blur spikes. They're possibly a little overused in places but overall I think this is a really successful experiment.

Yeah, the name is officially Morgan. Apologies to the patron who wanted to keep calling her "that girl". It was honestly tempting but I liked the name a lot and I want to put the suggestions to rest.
Anyway, people like her and she's fun to draw so here you go. There was a third sketch but I decided I wanted to try to properly line and color that one.

Commissioned by somepageperson. This was a flat color commission so I took some time to experiment with inking and effects, and I learned a lot!

Longtime (relatively speaking) fans and perusers of my galleries will recognize this piece. It continues to be one of my favorites that I've done so far but the face in the original version *really* hasn't aged well.

Wanted to get this commission done and out there while the meme was only *somewhat* stale. For @ThiccMeowboi on Twitter.
Incidentally, for a long time I was using a blend mode for the lines so that they take on some of the color below them, but lately I've been trying out opaque black again. Curious if anyone has noticed the difference, and whether you prefer one or the other.
Layla isn't very well-versed on kitsune lore.
I sketched this up because I didn't like having two double-tailed commissions of Layla and not one that I'd drawn myself.

I still think it's funny that this won the poll, but hey! look how she turned out. I think I was a little too generous with the size of that monster between her legs, but it looks good to me anyway.
My apologies to anyone who saw the rough WIP post and expected either a sword or one of those cool pirate topcoats, but the coat looked better in the sketch than it did as I tried to go into detail (and let's face it, there are quite enough versions here already).

October 4 is Cleo's birthday! A year ago I posted the first picture of her (included here strictly for reference).
