It's December! Asses be freezing but we still out here on the daily grind. Been working on the UI this week and planning out all the upgrades and progression and all that. I'm almost done with the menus, just gotta code them in which is gonna take another day or two. I plan to get started on the main minigame next week. Will see how that goes. Spent the week mapping out the house, currently working on the backgrounds. I tried to make things a little creepy. I'll make them more creepy in the minigame sections. The polls on the designs are pretty much done though I gotta calculate the voting power still. Pretty early in development but things are looking smooth!

Well, the video game comes out next week. Steam is... I don't know what's happening with the steam version. It'll probably be out on time...? They're being anal on my mature content warning description and I've resubmitted it twice already. Hopefully it'll be good before release, but if not, that's the reason. Ok so pretty much everything I need to add has been added into the game. I kinda still want to remake some art but my brain is numb and this game needs to be done so...it's TESTING TIME! Hopefully there aren't too many bugs to fix and I have enough patience to get through the week. Almost there!

Ayo. Huli here.

Got a lot done this week actually. Well, it's a lot of small additions. Got a basic leveling system added to speed up the gameplay a bit, balanced the stat requirements to flow better throughout the game, revised the wakeups a bit by letting you select which scenes to play, and added a more detailed tutorial. There are still some little features and testing to be done but it's almost good to go!

Finally finished the pics for the endings. Haven't tested them yet though. I'll save that for when I get the stat balancing done. I just started on balancing today so it's not done yet, but it should be done by mid next week...hopefully. Progress is steady and I'm not dead so things are going alright!

Update Sep 27th 2024: Preview

Got some scenes done! The washroom scenes are done and I'm on to the shower scenes. My left eyelid got swollen for some reason, probably from my hand being kinda dirty when scratching, but things got done! It's better now but it's still a bit swollen. A couple more scenes to go and 0.08 next week.

Spent the first half of the week setting up the bathroom events, and I just finished the first scene for those. Man, almost half of this month I've spent working on story and setup. Gotta do it though. Usually I'll release an update on the first week of the month if I can but at this rate it's only gonna be 5 scenes. I'll extend the release week to the second week (Aug 8-9th-ish???). Anyway, more scenes coming!

Back at it again with another update. I worked on the story of Housemates this week so no lewd preview. I still gotta draw some pics for the last of the talking events but aside from that, all that's left for the story are the endings. I know story progression is not ideal right but I gotta focus on adding content right now, and leave the balancing and pacing for later. It's more convenient that way.
