February 2021 Poll - Idea Gathering

Some morning affairs led to this post being delayed. Sorry about that. I'll likely be adding an idea or two of mine to this poll later, but if anyone has anything they'd like to be considered for TiTS, do let me know and I will appraise it!

(2021) January Progress Report

Over the last two months I've been reining in my distractive behaviors, particularly as I still have no concrete accomplishments based on what I've kept everyone waiting ages for. This concerted effort to concentrate and keep focused is working so far, but I still don't have any grand completions to whet your appetites with. The first half of January was still a climb back into the saddle, so to speak.

But, I found my spark. The long-promised Anno Petplay content is nearly finished, with only a handful of scenes left to go. Once I finish that I plan to give Fen his promised Tutorial Boss, simultaneously introducing a new race (the other half of the Slyveren who chose not to mod themselves) whilst capstoning the little venture. That doc is available in the Patreon-exclusive shared folder.

There is currently no CoC2 news to speak of, for now. Art is still being added to the albums, with several more commission on the way. My current set of goals are to complete the promised reverse petplay, the tutorial boss, and January's patreon vote in that order. 

I'll have more to talk about soon. Thank you for your continued support, and your  patience.

Next Step

I would say that most of December and the first half of January I've been in a state of disorder, crawling my way through several things. Despite that, my sleep's been better than ever, and I feel that I'm getting things back in order. My habits needed to change, so I've put myself together and established a routine that I hope will be visible in the coming days.

I won't say when anything will be done or how long it might take. We're still awaiting the JS port; as such, we find ourselves in this unique difficulty of needing to continue a game while essentially relaunching it. Fen hasn't posted it on the blog yet as of this patreon post, but an info dump will come shortly, with a lot of notes by Gedan, on where the project is.

The best is yet to come.

January 2021 - Monthly Content Poll

Couldn't come up with something else to add to this myself, and no other applicable ideas manifested. So, what will I add to my January workload? Also, I'm disabling "only one response per person" for this year's polls. If we do end up with a tie at the end... well then what to do lies with me!

2020 - The Year to Date

I leapt strong from 2019 into 2020 -- I resolved to make it my year of change. The NPC Einin that I articulated to Savin in February of 2019 for CoC2 I finally wrote hundreds of pages of, and I also established Leila in an motivated binge. For a short time I even worked on Cloud 10, and eventually found myself employed by Fenoxo for Trials in Tainted Space. Every new month of 2020, from January to February to March, was pushing something new my way, and thus pushing older promises and projects further and further down as I had to learn to manage new responsibilities and obligations.

I did not succeed, and I did not mature into the role as quickly as I wanted. I hardly finished any of my longest teased projects. Whilst I feel the beginning of the year was a solid effort an indicator of things to come, an incorrigible decline began around the mid-to-late summer of 2020, just a year after similar problems in 2019.

And then, a sudden personal crisis took place on October 21st that manifested in a series of stressful events that festered and worsened instead of passing. A week and pocket change after, I scheduled several appointments and started psychiatric treatment. In the days since I've been a thousand times better off, and have improved my self-care. Currently  I'm only on one medication, which is working wonders. The things I'd taken before this one were also excellent.

Having had a lot of time to think about the 'why' of my issues on the 21st, I'm fine with articulating them now.

As I was going to sleep for the day, I was hit out of nowhere by an excruciating panic attack. I got out of bed and paced anxiously. I'd never done this before, and it has never happened before. But I was able to get to sleep just fine, but it kept happening, and happening, and it was being exacerbated by several other factors. I spent a lot of long, unproductive nights being brutally honest with myself to understand the why.

I checked myself in for heart palpitations early November which prevented me from sleeping. But, I was physically fine, and over the last two months, I've had a perfectly fine bill of physiological health. In fact, certain things have also notably improved between the visits. I won't say exactly what brought on the nervous episodes, but it veers me into something I had already planned to say for this year's report. I might have said it before, but not so fervently, and I am compelled to say it--

I am extremely happy to work for you, and the support network you've all helped me build, and the connections I've made with many across the community, are everything I've ever wanted. To all of you, and especially to those who've shown me breathtaking kindness and generosity in the recent months: I love you -- Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You have all brought me a good fortune and everything that goes with it.

In those months and years before 2018, before starting down this road, I lived an aimless life with almost no responsibility, to myself or to anyone else. I realized not so long ago, looking even further back, that there were always signs I'd someday be doing this seriously, and my attitude towards it has never quite been what it should be.

Where I am now happened suddenly. Maturing into it has and will continue to be the pre-eminent challenge. 2020 did not close out brilliantly, and that is my fault; however, going into the unknown landscape of 2020 with a clearer mind, I know things will be better; I will endeavor to hold to my new resolution: to finish all that I've started, and to be a force for significant change and long-waited additions. TiTS will also experience a much-needed overhaul in the near future once it's ported to a new architecture: a new UI, availability on all devices...

There'll never be a better time to strike.

We go into this year differently from the last two. During my too-intermittent workstreams, I spoke of publicly releasing all of my documents and projects the following year. Therefore, I am making 2018's and 2019's history of work available to all. Of course, all documents created in 2021 will remain private to those pledging on Patreon. A new folder will be made to store the newest projects to come, and will be linked when applicable.

Tomorrow, we begin another poll. I did indeed finish the Male Rask scene during December - it was even implemented in time! I'll try to posit some of my own ideas for the next one, but remember the routine: if you're pledging > = $5, feel free to offer an idea for a small scene to add to the game.

Quickie First Mini-Update of December

As you might have heard from Nonesuch, I saddled him with a hefty amount of work for Zheng Shi's upcoming final deck. Because there aren't any enemy encounters there, like the Recreation Deck, I wanted there to be a number of dynamic and radiant smut encounters to fill the void. 

In the recent weeks I've been chipping away at an upcoming Nemesis encounter for the game as well.  Over 60 pages, and all of her supporting operations are done; combat's done, scenes are written that introduce Victory and Defeat scenes, so forth. With her alongside, we have the means to launch the deck in a WIP state. I'm looking forward to giving folks a small new area that will feature the quarters of Rat's Raiders and the Jumpers.

Jumpers will come first, however, due to Leila's nearness.

It's too early for me to say what's going to happen for the rest of the month, but wait and see! I've been feeling a lot more energetic and pumped, especially a bit more concentrated.

November Progress Report - Change

In November I revived an old document from 2019 that will start laying more groundwork for Zheng Shi's final expansion. The project in question will add a new enemy to ZS, and perhaps beyond, as a nemesis for the player. Her content will be 100% hatesex oriented, lots of fighting, combativeness, and struggling beyond the combat encounter itself. I look forward to seeing the reactions to her, given that she embodies 'don't stick it in / take it from crazy' very well.

I finished a quite-long backlog of Patreon scenes and other small events during November as well, clearing up some of the pile. Between adding tens of thousands of words to the new enemy, and beginning again on what I hope to be Roo's last write-throughs, it was an alright month, getting back on track a little bit more each day in spite of what's been going on. I do not have any CoC2 news right now, but you can rest assured I'm always getting art of something for am just waiting for Savin to clear Einin for me. 

That said, I did write a new non-smut scene for Etheryn on random request, where High Confidence Ryn will be able to start surprising the PC with a hug & kiss after clearing the Winter City portion of the main quest. I'm certain the elf lovers out there will love her taking the initiative and giving some affection back.

For December... well, it's the end of the year, isn't it. 2020 has come and gone, and I have no doubt there will be some jaw-dropping changes and surprises for all of us going through Christmas time. I'm still working on Roo and Leila... and I will be clearing up the 2020 Patreon Poll this month with the long-unvoted Raskvel boi femPC worship... and I am going to write a scene where Anno can leash the PC and take them for walkies. The PC will have a variety of options to be good or bad and be appropriately rewarded or punished.

Why has it been a drag lately? Transparency is important to me, and I'll go into some detail.

At the end of October 21st or the day after, I suffered a sudden panic attack. Just before bed, it struck me like a spike to the brain, and the wound got infected. It wasn't until mid-November that I realized my problems were worsening, particularly in light of my Mr. Pink stream where I spent the whole night in an empty malaise not seeing any value in... anything around me, really. I couldn't calm down enough to sleep and had an elevated heart rate. The  attacks had become very frequent.

On the 10th, 12th, and 18th, I had a revolving door of appointments with doctors and specialists to get myself back under control. In the aftermath, the side effects from one of the medications has been totaling me for a good week and a half. Right now it just sedates me for about an hour early in my day but I feel quite energetic for the most part, and optimistic again. It's been extremely effective, and it coincided with my goal of getting on top of my health this year. I have yet another follow-up appointment tomorrow, in fact.

As always, thank you for your continued support. I know it's been slow, but we are on course. Not just from the 'getting writing done' side, but TiTS is going to make it to JS in due course, and there've been numerous UI updates and coding milestones that'll bring it to life. It'll essentially be a relaunch of the game, and it's super exciting. Lots of things will change for the better.

Small Update

For most of November I've been in and out of doctor's offices and on the phone with care providers. I won't go into too much detail; it started around October 21st and got worse and worse, but I'm doing a lot better now. I finished a strong new Kelly scene where you'll finally be able to Catch for both of her phalli at their maximum size. This will mean you need to meet some requirements and also be mostly in love with her so that she tells you her secret and lets you throbb her up some!

I can't say what will come for the rest of the month, but be ready! I cleared up a rather substantial backlog of content by finishing Kelly today.

This will be the final vote for 2020, as next month I will finish all of these scenes regardless. Pick what you'd like prioritized, then! As it took a day to get this going, this idea gathering will only be available for 48 hours instead of 72, though given its track record I don't think that'll hurt.

October Progress Report - Rise

2020 is nearly over and where are we? Much closer to the completion of numerous large projects, that's where. I spent the previous two days (which were essentially free periods due to having used up hours) also working on a bit more of Zheng Shi's upcoming expansions, starting with an important new enemy. Last month saw a burst of Roo Crew content that capstoned her non-smut interactions. A bevy of smaller things need to be filled in at this point, but once the focus is there it'll be finished swiftly enough. New, huge expansions for Anno and Sylvie have been penned, and there's still a soft delay on a third.

November will be the last patreon poll vote of the month. The reason for this is that I will finish up everything on the poll that hasn't been voted for yet once December rolls around. I might still accept an additional idea for then, however, from >$5 patrons. Be sure to inform me of any scene idea you may have that you would like me to consider.

I currently do not have any CoC2 or C10 reports to make. Both sides are relatively quiet, as I've spent the majority of my time finishing a lot of pre-employment backlog for TiTS. I spend much time polishing other submitted and approved projects as well, now. It's become something of a good routine and schedule for me.

October 21st - One Year Older

Time is immaterial when you're writing the next facesitting scene. October 21st is my birthday. I wanted to have a Mr. Pink Stream tomorrow, but it's going to happen on Nov. 9 instead. Hopefully! I have many small ideas and could get quite a bit this time.

I recently finished (and Gena has coded) Anno's latest scene, 12000 words thereabouts for what amounts to 3-5 events within it all. We essentially have a trilogy of the TiTS player character falling in love with Huskar Anno's enormously thicc butt now, and being unable to take it any more... -- it will be available in the next patch, methinks.

I've been reading Sylvie recently in preparation to get her scene cranked out, and following that the Anno & Kase for this month. Today was mostly lazy for obvious reasons.

After these obligations, it will likely be back to Roo, or finishing Paragon's erotic establishment on Dhaal. I would like to think the latter won't take very long, given the meat of it is already fully established. And I'd like to have it finished for all the next MQ stuff Fen has dotted. I still intend to add a new enemy to Zheng Shi as well as some smaller, brothel-length events to Zheng Shi's upcoming final deck.

I'll likely be going to bed a little earlier tonight. TiTS staff hold weekly meetings on Wednesday and it's a few hours before I usually wake up.

A brief update for the first half of October

 progression is almost where I want it to be. I'm all-in on this as my project, so look forward to more detailed posts soon. As for the game at large: Nonesuch has quite a bit ready to go in - I finished looking at Dizzy today. There'll be some Halloween projects to code later this month as well, including something from Adjatha that wasn't ready last October. It's definitely him at his best. Still waiting to hear more per Einin for CoC2. That's actually something that's more done than Leila is so it's currently not my focus.

Optimistically, I'm aiming for Roo to be done this month, including the patreon scenes I've promised (and some are delayed) as well as the finishing of the Dhaal Brothel with the VR 'Mindstream' attraction, just need to get all the sleep I can.

I write a lot of scenes containing Anno in them, but not a lot of Kase. As two of the player's earliest potential crewmembers, they really should have more and more content, not just because I have an affinity for callipygian derrieres. If this is chosen, I will write a threesome between Anno and Kase wherein Anno gets topped by the kaithrit but the PC tops Kase. Sometimes, you really need to trap your boys in a sandwich; sometimes you need to give the boy a little push so that he pushes even harder into his ausar superior.

September Progress Report - It's Full Of Stars

This year's September was a bit of a crawl, but it saw huge gains on Roo. Fully edited, looked over, and on the path to completion. Sadly it wasn't on a high note that I ended September, but on a Doctor's visit. Nothing major, but I must have ended up with a case of food poisoning in the last two weeks. I don't have any progress on the Patreon scenes from last month yet, but it's unlikely they would have been coded. There are still some extremely large projects on the Staff coder's lists, and a lot of other content primed to get in.

That being said, I will be getting those truant Patreon scenes done this month, including a special one from the public discord - an idea I had. It's my sincere wish to finish Roo ASAP and then start in on Leila while I have the time to do so. I softly expect to finish Roo at the very least, then the Brothel's extra inclusions, then FINALLY start in on new Zheng Shi content, where I have loads of new inclusions to make, including an all-new enemy.

There is no news on Einin for CoC2 yet, as this relies on Savin, and he hasn't spoken with me on the updates he requested that I put in a while back. That said, I don't have any CoC2 projects ongoing at this specific time, but all future content that is not for Einin will be pregnancy related :)

I'm still not sure what will be going for C10 this month either. It would be best to ask Noob about that.

This is not a very feature-rich report, and for that I apologize. This downtime has done a world of good for me, though. Please wait a little longer to see the conclusion of these immense, long-delayed characters. And thank you very much for supporting myself, but TiTS more than this.

October's poll will be coming up as usual. Bear in mind that if you're a $5 Supporter, I won't accept requests to add on to the poll during December's polling. Instead, I will finish everything on the poll that wasn't voted on, so be sure you get something in this month or November if you'd like me to think on it and possibly make it come true!

September 20 - Where We Are!

Roo is progressing somewhat smoothly. Her non-smut content and all related fluff is nearing finished. After that I plan to hit the Sylvie Patreon Scene hard. My brain hasn't gotten that click, that rush I have when things are going really well, but that usually only comes up for the juicy smut, but it's so close sometimes. Just need to keep at it.

Don't worry. We are getting there. Look forward to some Roo updates involving serious lewds, as I've have quite a bit of fun writing her [Sleep With] content.

First Quarter of September - What's up?

 September is motoring on by, isn't it. We've got some Chemist starting us off, we've got Dhaal MQ coming up, we've got some massive projects on the codepile getting done (Crash Landing!) and we'll get a new Sylvie scene later this month thanks to my Patreon supporters.

Here's where I'm at as of today, Day 3 of Roo.

I'm walking the road to finishing Roo for the last time. In order to do this, I have had to recontextualize myself in her content and personality again -- I also streamed a bit of this final pass for a few hours yesterday, if just to start tapping on the drums a bit more with regards to her completion, answering questions about her, the gist of it. It really has been a long time.

I had to do this read through to also ensure that the things I did in my other pushes through her content were solid, like her stripping sequences - remember that Roo is an exhibitionist. For example, I've made sure that you unlock more to do with her by interacting with her, that way things open in a sequence. Specific options become available after you've spoken with her on specific subjects. I have to piece together her content so it flows sensibly. Crewmembers require this amount of work, in my personal belief.

I can't work on new stuff until I've squared that away and the writing quality, to the best of my abilities, on extant content. The tedious stuff is almost done though, and the streaming will pick back up. These are the same motions I went through with Bianca, after all.

I have about 60% of Roo's intimate options as a crewmember to go through, with the differences between Slave and Free, and these will include conditional scenes, like when Roo is at High Lust (her lust is tracked like Sera's!) and you allow her to masturbate, which has her masturbate right away in front of you. Kissing, Petting, Hugging, all sorts of things will have her reciprocate them when you come back to the ship at a later date, by ambushing you with affection and letting you push her against the wall for a quickie.

The brunt of Roo's sex scenes is built around a free-form concept. You get to tell her to strip and position herself in a few ways and then move in to fuck her in however which way you've set her up. It'll be complex, for sure. There will also be the usual rung of fire-and-forget scenes, such as [Eat Her Out], [Missionary], you get the picture.

I'm not entirely sure how Threesomes will go yet, but you can expect at least an Anno and Kase set of scenes, since those are still fresh in my mind.

After all her smut is taken care of, which I presume will run the gamut of "many pages", I will close out her initial crew content with something special. Given that Roo is already a trained slave, there's no need to break or coach her through anything. She's been a slave for 12 years. Therefore (and because it's me, the ever-optimistic) her Free route contains the real continuation of her character. Free Roo can be reunited with her family, and that's the final set of events I'll be doing.

You'll note that I said "Initial crew content." Well, threesomes can always be added -- Leila, Bianca, Reina... -- but I have also teased I'm not opposed to Roo having a sizable pregnancy expansion someday.

But I really, really must get this done and soon, y'know?

More could be done, however, so if this is chosen, I will write a scene that allows the PC to orally worship her from behind while stroking her to an explosive finish. How you leave her satisfied will be entirely up to you. Would you leave a herm to her own devices or just embrace authority's full, teeming package?

Einin

Way back in January of 2019, I spoke to Savin and Tobs at length about contributing a companion to CoC2. For as long as Leila has been in development, maybe longer, Einin has been in the background. Thanks to the CoC2 team's help, we kept her secret up until late August where I softly announced her in the public discord.

Currently she is technically more developed than Leila is (but that will change, believe you me). Here is a blurb I wrote that will serve as the future patch note featuring her.

In due course, you will encounter a Mecian named Einin, an insouciant thief prowling the outskirts of Hawkethorne -- and a potential companion! Investigate her crimes and bring her to justice, or dig deeper to unearth her motivations. Whatever choices you make to coerce or befriend the mouse, you can expect much teasing, tenderness, intimate lovemaking, rough sex, and plenty of delicious bullying.

Einin is a thief-mage in practice. I will elect not to talk about her personality or her traits or what the player can do to her in detail for a couple of reasons. CoC2 has a heavier narrative focus due to being kickstarted by the entire kitsune saga that Tobs had spent years writing up, and so to contribute to that, I've written a character with multiple recruitment methods and a few branching paths, as well as an entire conversation battle. How you will gain her in the future will have some benefits or maluses.

What I'm most excited to have people comment on when they can encounter her is how they choose to deal with her. It'll still be some time yet before she's finalized, but her pre-recruitment is essentially done. It'll need a little more polish and then a surfeit of repeatable sex scenes and other important topics to add her. One of the more time consuming things I'll have to do is read through much of CoC2 and find places to insert her for more immersion as well.

It may not be the best look for me right now with a backlog the size of the grand canyon, but this is also what I was referring to when I said you'd get a huge windfall of content from me all at once. Things are piecing together, and with 6900 words written just today jumpstarting September, I'm optimistic.

Einin as a companion is great for me as a light contributor towards CoC2 as well. She is a platform from which I can write as much as I like and work on making her as in-depth as possible. Everything about the companion system jives with what I like to do as a creator. I hope that when she is added that folks will find her worth the time. Thank you.

August Progress Report - Marathon | Plus, a question!

August was the month of picking back up after the back-to-back roughness of June and July. Finishing patreon scenes such as the content featuring Shekka (and Anno!), pushing on some unannounced projects, and generally getting myself pieced together. 

What happened this month specifically? Besides the above, I've expanded my responsibilities for TiTS development. All content submitted must be reviewed by Fen to be implemented. In the meanwhile, I will be proofreading and editing as much of it as I can to ensure better QA going forward in not just my content, but that of all other projects, such as Savin's, Adjatha's, and any volunteer work.

Noob and None wanted to take a break for August, so there was no C10 work during the month nor will there be (so far as I know) a patch this month. Therefore, there will be some to follow for the October patch, an all new zone and a few new enemies. 

Summer hasn't been kind to me this year. June, July, and even August just two days ago. There have been some deeply harsh events that have taken their toll on me, but I will carry on. I'm afraid my Gab Chemist contributions were delayed by this, but not for much longer.

Tomorrow, I will be posting an announcement pertaining to CoC2. If you're a member of the Public Fenoxo Discord, you might have already seen what it is. The completion of a long-secret project is coming up. With that, I will also be sharing my CoC2 document folder along with the TiTS files. I've kept most of them (save for Evergreen) hidden because of references to something I didn't want spoiled. I have a feeling a ton of people would love to get their hands on the Cat Harem doc too, ha ha.

And, hopefully, joining this once-mysterious project at fruition will be quite a few OTHER things that I've been unsuccessful in delivering in a timely manner. I plan to resolve those issues this month. Words are hard (and often cheap) but I'm feeling it. In the next few days I'll be starting a marathon stream to last however many days it takes to finish Roo. I did this with the CoC2 Cat Harem, wherein I finished 40,000 words in only seven days. I streamed it every night at roughly the same time and managed to keep my head for it.

I need to do this for Roo. There has to be a push, and I'll be doing it for the early month.

In 2019, my biggest failing was defeatism. Occasionally I mention to others whom my favorite writers are and why I look up to them: Fen, Nonesuch, and especially Adjatha. Content slowed a lot in Spring-Summer back then; lots of plans but not quite as much throughput as I wanted. I've overcome the personal second-guessing since then. In my latest Shekka scenes (and the Cat Harem, still, regardless of it being a few months back) I think I've got a handle on my new general prose. I can only hope that you the readers will continue to enjoy it.

My biggest problem, now is just sticking to proper time management. Getting back to regular work transparency, rather than whittling hours away chatting randomly in our Discord, ha ha.

With the upcoming marathon, I very much intend to keep altering myself bit by bit.

And to end us out, a question for my patrons. Patreon has built in support for Discord and roles for exclusive servers based on whatever tier the creator assigns. As I am Fenoxo's employee on Trials in Tainted Space, it would seem awkward to set up my own private patreon server when I can essentially do the same things within our public discord server.

Please comment if you think a private, personal discord server would be meaningful. If anything, I think it'd just be a more readable repository for my posts, reports, updates, and especially links to projects.
