While metaphorically drowning in cummy simulation hell, I had a bunch of free time to work on other projects. Basically, simulating fluids, cloth, involves dialing in a bunch of settings for weight, viscosity, flow amount, etc. and then "baking" the simulation. Once that's ready, you realize that it doesn't look right... so you tweak the settings and bake again... and again... and again. That leaves me with a ton of time just sitting around and waiting...

At this point, I'm just waiting for the Zig/Aaron hump "climax" to finish baking. Basically, once the settings for the cummy simulation are all dialed in, I have to bake it at a higher final resolution, so the fluid doesn't look blocky. That takes like 4-6 hours, so now I'm just killing time.

Got a little bogged down in trying to make the climax look good. While I do that, here's a quick GIF! Itttt's happening! As soon as I figure out the cummies. Fluid simulation is always kind of a nightmare. But once you get it right, it's all worth it!

So, I had a crazy idea to do one of those X-ray views for the... ahem... climax of the Zig/Aaron animation. Wasn't sure if it would even work. But I sat down and put in a day's work to experiment, and I'm quite happy with the result!

So the name Trevor won by a LANDSLIDE in that poll. After I wrapped up some animation work, I did more cleanup on this boy. The next steps are to texture and then rig him!
Also, I had this thought... what if... sexy deer twins? Just copy/paste the model and make some adjustments to the markings. Boom. Deer twins >.> Second one needs a name, though. Since Dominic came in second, that seems like a good choice.

So, I was taking a bit of a mental break tonight from polishing the Zig+Aaron animation. Decided to do a bit of sculpting. And then this guy happened! Aaand he's done! Thank you everyone for your patience! I know that I can't produce as many animations while I work on building new characters, but it should ultimately be very worthwhile, as it increases my roster :3 I'm already working on a demo animation featuring this boyo. Stay tuned!

So here's what I've been doing bit by bit between projects. Always wanted to build a cool, neon-glow city street. Still gotta do some detail and cleanup work. Grunge things up a bit, add some graffiti, random stickers on the walls, maybe an old bike, etc. Then I have to animate a bunch of stuff. Lights flickering, rain falling, fog swirling, etc.
And I know there's a lack of dick in this scene, but don't you fret! There will be dick. This is gonna serve as a backdrop for an animated vid...
