Late night sketch before bed, toying with lighting techniques. It's a bit heavy on bloom, but wanted to try new things, plus I kept Enzo as a sketch rather than finished line work. Perhaps I'll finish it at some point.

As another in my "h00man series", I took a crack at Archer as a human. I struggled a bit to make him the way I envisioned as I think I need to get back to basics and learn my fundamentals a bit, but I was happy enough to show it. Even Archer is like... whaaaa? (glasses pull) XD

A Tense Moment

As another sneak peak into the current status of the comic, I'm really trying to plow through this current 10 page set, yet I'm also juggling a children's book as I've been hired to do illustration, which I may add... has been quite enjoyable. :P  I'd love to show everyone, but since it's under contract, it'll be at least a few months. Time management has definitely been a bit more challenging in these last few weeks.

From sketch to render

As another far sneak peak for my $5 patreons, I'm hammering away at a 10 page set. I wanted to show how I take rough layouts and sketches all the way to the rendered finish line. I'm constantly experimenting on new methods and techniques in color and rendering. Sometimes it works... sometimes it doesn't. :P

Perhaps in the future I'll have a more thorough breakdown of more steps, though seeing it like this is probably a bit more dramatic haha.

This went through a few iterations, but I think I could settle for this.... for now. Arlo has decided that fishing the old way is taking too long. Heck the fish is RIGHT there. So I have a big scene I'm working on and needed to make the establishing shot. I plan to use this a bit in the section as I'm going to have the day passing by, as well as weather changes. I'm eager to see what I can do with the lighting :D

Here's a morning shot, as it's quite bright. Rough values and lighting have been applied just to get a feel for it. My wrist is cramping, so time to shut down the night. ;P
