I honestly have no idea why or how, but I sat down and wrote the lyrics, recorded, and mixed all of this in just over an hour! ... if only i could do that with ALL my covers! This song is so strange and- to be honest- I hated it until I heard it about 5 or 7 times, hahaha! It's a song about waking up with palm tree hair that cannot be fixed! The original is sung in such an awkward style, so I was sure to preserve that feeling ^^

I took a lot of liberties with the direct translation to really match the story of Gojo and Getto in Jujutsu Kaisen. It's a tragic story of having to say goodbye to a friend you can't bare to say goodbye to, despite what a monster they've become. This song really hit me hard, so I hope that I can do it justice.

So this is the first cover I did not write the lyrics for- I used Jubyphonics' lyrics this time around! I have been battling some internal bleeding issues the last few weeks and also working hard on my first album, so having her lyrics was a serious help!
