Escapism page 6

A few months ago I decided to do something fun and ask readers to email me their OCs to have them cameo in an upcoming tale, and here they are! Well, most of them anyway. I'll have the remaining ones appear in the next few pages - I could only fit so many in. I will also be giving them spotlights at the end of the chapter like I do with other characters.

I really enjoyed receiving and reading these characters you've sent me and I'd love to do this again in a future tale.

Valory Goodwin's Book of Heart

A few months ago I got commissioned to make illustrations for an upcoming charity D&D homebrew supplement called 'Valory Goodwin's Book of Heart'.
It's set to come out soon and I figured I could leak one eensy little preview.

Magic in Self-Acceptance

Illustrated a tweet made by JessieStarsTF because I love her words?💕 I found it very on-brand with one of the themes of my webcomic so I drew this.

Incarnations of the Faerie Queen

So here's a line up of Queenie's predecessors dating back to roughly 3300 BCE with God-Queen Danu. She ruled over the island of Ireland until the Milesians came. By the time of Queen Mab (Titania) in the 1200 BCE, the Fae had already left the mortal world and established their new home in the Otherworld. There may have been a queen between Aine and Mab named Una but its unclear if that was just one of their names or a separate queen all together. By the Middle Ages came the unseelie queen Nic...

Updated map of Faerie and her neighbouring realms

While the otherfolk (people of the Otherworld) don't share the same concept of borders as humans do (their realms are often amorphous and separated by nothing more than gradual transitions), here's a rough map of locations in and around Faerie. Any resemblance to real-world locations is purely coincidental. Prior to the Otherworld Wars, the rule of the Faerie Queen reached as far east as the fringes of the Asura Realm and as far west as Great Ireland. Expansion north and south was held at bay...
