I don't know what to say, I just don't like these particular pages very much. That's why I redrew them in the end!!

Sorry!! At the end of last month I really, really spontaneously found a new apartment and have been packing & changing my bills etc etc etc. So I forgot to update!

So this is last months update, and at the end of the month you'll get this months page.

Here's where I started losing faith in the original style. It felt messy and really difficult to get looking decent. Couple more pages left with it!

Thank you for being patient with me. It's been so hard with the death of my dog. I haven't drawn new pages for months, I just didn't have it in me. But today I finished a new page!

Ah, redraws. My bad habit. The original style was just too hard to keep consistent! That scribbly look. I noticed it made my productivity so bad, so I had to change it.

I really liked the second panel in the original, it was hard to make it for the newer style.

I got a new dog last month, and the transition was TOUGH, took up all my time and mental energy, so I skipped a month without meaning. I won't charge for next month but will still upload, to make up for it!

Been a difficult month, so I haven't been able to draw much extra stuff (my dearest darling dog died earlier this month), so I thought I'd show you an old test page for a comic I'd like to do. Not sure if I'll ever get to this one!

I meant to upload Mother stuff this month, but then my friend got scammed out of ALL her money (heartbreaking), and I started doing YCH commissions on Twitter to gather her some of the money back. This took the bulk of my time, and it is really important to me, so I want to focus on that.

Rabbit Hole Prologue Redraw - Page 005 Comparison

Quick heads up about Mother: I most likely won't be able to start it in December! I'll try to design and upload a cover to show you, though!

This is a pretty simple page on both versions! Again, so much detail on the ground. Some things that I don't like in the old version is that the first "panel" is so high up. It almost feels like it's too far up and should be a bit lower! I'm also not a fan of the shading & lines of the random background bunny.

Now that looks completely different!

I think when I made the prologue, I hadn't fully formed the vision of what this rabbit cult was like. I felt like it needs to be scary, and so rabbits could be forced to jump. I was even was thinking that choosing rabbits to jump was going to be used as a tactic to kill opposition by the council who speak for the pit!

But I don't think anyone would need  to be dragged and thrown into the pit. I think all chosen rabbits will jump, even ...

Rabbit Hole Prologue Redraw - Page 003 Comparison

Happy Halloween! Here's a spooky page comparison.

I'm really happy with the new version, I must say! It might be my favorite from the whole prologue. I think the horizontal format helps a lot, and having the buns be closer & further to the camera adds depth. Again with the tiny ears in the original!? The heck are those, horns? Look at the guys on the right lmaoo. What was I doing. My bunny faces have become more round too, it seems.

Rabbit Hole Prologue Redraw - Page 001 Comparison

First page of the redrawn prologue! I made them all double spreads, so technically the new one is 001-002. 

The way I used to draw the comic was BUSY.. so so busy! I wasn't really used to making silhouetted works, so I put lots of texture into everything. The grass in the old page looks horrible in my opinion, an unfortunate feature in many of the early pages (that I will fix for the print version..)
