Update 11/30/2022: All docks maps are available here in one package:
Hi dear patrons and followers!
I always go on a full disclosure and every time I'm asked what's the tool I make the maps in, I plainly say - it's Wildshape. Mostly. Because I use many techniques, but Wildshape is my main working tool here. I don't want to limit the experience you get form using my maps to static or animated clips. Wildshape allows much more in full 3D adding another level to the online or offline rpg sessions. So here I'm opening the third tier for those among you, who ...

Well, it's almost ready. The only thing is that I couldn't find any suitable ship model without sails dropped. Now it's time to get some sleep and then make animated maps out of it. Soon it will be uploaded to g-drive along with some tier changes for Wildshape users ;)
Cheers!

Hey! Docks anyone?
It's going to be a big map with couple of warehouse interiors, some harbour office and a lighthouse maybe. It will be enough space to chunk it into 2 or 3 animated maps. This is how it looks now. Texture work is on the way :)

I have finally found it! A perfect balance between the file weight, format and the quality. As you may observed the best video format which most digestible for any browsers is .WEBM. This format is also supported by Astral VTT where I use to play and Roll20 with some plug-ins. Not sure about Foundry VTT, but hey - if you use it please let me know!
Anyway, the WEBM video format is one of the ways to go when you'...

Finally after such a long time a final version of the map is there. As my dear Patrons already know the map was a challenge for me as it is so huge, that I had to somehow workaround the loss in quality due to the high camera zoom (for animated version). I came up with splitting the animated version into quarters, in order to keep proper resolution and details.
Thundertree is a place where the nature took over the destroyed town and under the influence of a dragon and the cultists ...

Hey Tier2 patrons!
Another quarter - north-eastern part just landed on our g-drive. I'm taking a full speed with two another quarters so I should have them ready later today. Just to let you know it's going to be released fully very soon.
Have a nice weekend!

This map is a challenge. Especially because it covers so much area and making this map as animated version I must been thinking about the quality. Large scale map and high zoom made the video clip less readable and quality suffered here a lot.
So I came up with a specific solution to chunk the map into 4 pieces for animated types. It quadrupled the amount of work, but I think it was worth of a shot. Due to this fact I decided to release this animated maps in couple of parts in com...

So, here it is. I have just finished the building part. Now it's time to make some animated and static maps from it. All now it's like another 45% of work to be done, because I'd like to make it in many variants like at night, rainy etc... But weekend is coming and finally I'll have a time for it :)
Have a great evening dear patrons. Let me know if you got any suggestions to this map!
Cheers!

Ok, it's almost ready :) Just need to add some more bushes and vines, so the ruins look more overgrown. Still need a day for a fine tune and postprocessing in DaVinci :) Stay tunned.

After a short city break I'm back with another map form Lost Mines of Phandelver. I hope I'll be able to get this done until the month end. Well, what else to say- almost al maps from the campaign are done and one left is Wave Echo Cave which naturally is the last one :).
Now I can start thinking about the next campaign, so I'll set a poll in some time to let YOU decide.
Have a nice weekend and take care!

Alright, that would be it! My 5th (I guess) map for the official starter pack for DnD 5e! My patrons were getting day to day update about the progress so here I'll just say that it was a tough map for making. All that rubbles, curved walls, not entirely described lightning in the source book... but finally after all of that here it is - Cragmaw Casle in its full ruined self :D
(I'm still thinking to make also a night version, so I haven't said my last word about this map!)
Here's ...

In the nutshell: playable but still ugly :D
So the walls are ready and now I'm going ahead with all the props from the original map and some additional. I decided to put different textures on floors, so the rooms feel more distinctive.
Cheers!

So I learned the most problematic are the arrow slits and the way to build them around with the bricks. Anyway I aim to have the layout most accurate to the original, but there will be some biases and I cannot overcome that with the tools I have - not many fortunately, so you'll hardly find the difference.
The thing I'm happy about is that I was able to make those round walls and that proves the whole castle can be made in my way - that means: 3D/animated/boosted static version :)...

Well, according to the poll - I guess I'm building Cragmaw Castle now :) This could take some days as there is hard to get the exact the same assets. So I build it literally brick after the brick to have near to original layout of the dungeon. I'm really excited about this map as this could be the most detailed and challenging map I ever made.
I'm gonna give you the updates here, so you can see the progress :)
Cheers!

After a short break with official content (for making something different like the Coast Wreak and Magic Shoppe) I'm gonna focus now on the rest of the LMoP maps. As we're going to the chapter 3: "Spider's Web" there are two maps actually for making. Which one should go first? I attached the official (c)Wizards of the Coast maps for reference

Hey! What's up?
A quick map I have created for my campaign. Can be used as a small magic shop location or for some heist/burglary type of adventure.
The map contains three floors and it was meant to be a home of a mage specialised in teleportation. The lower circle is used for typical teleportation service, where customers pays for being translocated somewhere else. The next floor is a lab or workshop. While the last floor is where the Astral Plan portal is constantly ...

Hey!
I can almost feel summertime coming: paradise beaches, ocean breeze, smell of gunpowder, fighting krakens :)
So here is the map for some maritime adventure. As usual the map is in animated and static versions. There is also grid and logo version for Free.
What else to say. Thank you! :) Forgive me the poor quality as I decided to record that video in terrain while having a walk :)

Hellow!
Happy Friday for everybody! After some break I'm coming with the brand new map-pack for LMoP campaign. I had a really good time making this map as there is no strict description of manor ruins itself in the campaign. First, because the PC may really have a fight there and although it's not stated anywhere in the setbook, sometimes Redbrand ruffians can engage PC in the ruins. Secondly, I could release some invention here and there and make the map more tactical.
Sou you ca...

Time for another map form Lost mine of Pandelver! I had some days offline and now I'm going to finalize outdoor map for LMoP. As far as I know there isn't any official battle map for this location. The only one I bumped into is Phandalin city map which doesn't cover much details. So here we are :) Should be ready in a few days.
Hope ya'll doing ok!
Cheers

Hey!
So it is finally here! Another map for LMoP campaign, both in animated and static version!
As I mentioned in WIP post, it has been a little bit of a challenge to make every prop visible and not hidden behind the walls. Well now, it's not super perfect but I think it will do that way. Check it out and let me know what do you think!
As usual for my super-duper patrons there is no-logo version and in ultra HD.
Work In Progress update:
I have finished almost 80% of the next map for official campaign LMoP. The lighting still needs some love and I think I'll add some more details props. The original map seems to be rather symbolic, so I'll try to beautify it a little. Then there will be a biggest challenge - the walls :D Seriously, the map is rather a big one; the perspective and the angle makes some of the doors hidden - need to figure out how to make it work.
Anyway - it's rather a busy ...

Sharing this photo as I have bumped into that while scrolling the web. I have immediately thought - hey that looks like a battlemap for me, so I decided to do something about it and here it is! Something you can use for your underwater adventure, like visiting Mr. Cthulhu, fighting undead pirates - let me know how you would use it!
Side note: I'm really getting that perspective, that even a google maps satellite view looks like a battlemaps for me, haha
First - I'm not the...

I really like to hear and listen to your voice, This time a quick poll about you and your use of the maps! Looking at my g-drive I must say, the amount of them is growing nicely. So - have you tired some already? Maybe there is any specific map you really enjoyed?
Let me know! :)

Hey!
I hadn't a lot of time today for a long run with the maps, so I tweaked Arcane Storm map a little. I have added some castle ruins and places where players (or their adversaries) can gain advantage having a high ground (Obi-Wan - I know!). So adding walls, towers and floating tiles I wanted to make that plain map more interesting in a tactics perspective - look at the north-west part - I can see players jumpin' on these wobbling tiles, failing dexterity checks... (xD)
Anyway, ...

Hey how is it going?
Finally I get along with Unity and after several failures, (honestly, I needed to rebuild the map almost from a scratch) here it is - the animated and static map of druid circle. I have also experimented with the resolution, so now - I hope - the quality of maps is better.
Ok, so what you get in this pack:
