Here's all the previous versions of this fella and a bunch of sketches and ideas i worked on while trying to get him squared away! They're "in order" as best I could manage, from early drafts, to a ton of mockups, through final sketches and then a colored sketch to make sure everything looked right before committing to color.

PHEW! Finally, after a slew of pc issues, travel, and a LOT of catching up, here's the base version of the illustration and the simple ref I made for him! This is March 2024's reward, sorry it's so late in the month! I'll resume my "on or near the 1st of the month" posting schedule for rewards next month.
No name yet, but dunno if i want or need a name for him, just kinda designed him to be "cat me" while also being goals to strive for :p

Really wanted to work on value and layout on this piece and finally 'cracking the code' on the idea for sketches I had last month.

Really wasn't kidding when I said I had some severe art block tryign toget stuff going for patreon this month by the time I actually got back into my office.

Anyway, while I was sick earlier this month my husband and I got into fortnite because there's a hot tiger man in it, so I decided to draw him! Here's fortnite's Oscar (if you need a name to google and you're like me and previously 100% unaware of anything fortnite related lol)

Phew. I'm sorry it's been SO long on here without an update but things are almost back to normal. A lot has happened so i'll keep it brief:
+ I got back from holiday travel on 1/4, not feeling great.
+ I got a positive covid test result a couple days later.
+ While sick with covid my family's house burned down (everyone is OK, mom was in and out of hospital quickly). Not all that relevant here, just something that's added a great deal of emotional stress on top of...
