Seems like the Admonition articles are pretty popular. This poll will determine the video for the 26th. I'll also probably release that Noroi video publicly on Wednesday.

Noroi: The Curse (Horror Movie Summary)

Shockingly, I didn't get hit with any copyright claims on this one....yet.

I'm surprised myself with how quickly I got this done, but it was a lot of fun to work on. I'd like to get some feedback from anyone that has seen the movie before, as well as anyone that hasn't. I know that video clips are better than images, and maybe down the line I can work in like 4-5 second clips here and there, but I wanted to play it pretty safe to start. The video probably could've been shorter, b...

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-8000 - The Seal of Approval

I'll be honest and say that this one didn't really work for me. It was well written, but I can't really relate to the concept too much, and I think there will definitely be comments saying that this one is sort of emblematic of what's wrong with modern SCP. I don't think there's anything "wrong" with modern SCP, but I certainly prefer articles that lean a bit more into horror or science fiction.

As mentioned, this week I'll be working on SCP-8000 finally, and this poll will determine the video for the 19th. I'll also state, if only to commit myself to it, that I'm working on a video summary of the 2005 Japanese horror film Noroi. I'd really like to get into doing horror movie summaries just to see if there's a potential audience for that, so I'll drop it on patreon first when it's done to get some feedback.

Herbert West - Reanimator by H.P. Lovecraft (Audiobook)

Definitely not among Lovecraft's best, but still pretty cool to see such early works of reanimated corpses.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-8918 - Death Was Written Large Everywhere

I think it wouldn't take much to separate this article entirely from the SCP universe, but that doesn't mean it's bad at all.

Okay, well I'll be diving into a little World War 1 anomaly this week, but the following week I'll be away on a trip to Gencon, so I'm just going to prepare a Lovecraft reading instead. I would then put up a poll for the video for the 12th of August, but I think instead I'm just going to finally go ahead and do SCP-8000. It's a little overdue at this point.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: Vikander-Kneed Technical Media

I'm sure that won't be distracting at all.

For some reason, Patreon polls weren't working yesterday, but I'll be working on Vikander-Kneed Technical Media this week. This poll will determine the video for the 29th.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: Fratricide: An Amoni-Ram Story - Part Two

Certainly a bit of work, but I'm glad I did it in two without extending it another week.

Very funny that the results of that last poll were exactly 50/50. Anyways, I'll be finishing up Fratricide this week, so this poll will determine the video for the 22nd of July.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: Fratricide: An Amoni-Ram Story - Part One

Between Rounderhouse and djkaktus, I've been eating pretty good the last couple of weeks. Really high quality writing here though, so I hope people give it a read or a listen.

Looks like we're heading back to Amoni-Ram for a little bit. It will either be 2 or 3 parts I imagine. The question remains on whether or not I should read the whole thing out verbatim, including the dialogue, or do my usual summarization. I don't really think of myself as much of a voice actor, so I lean against it, but I figure I'll leave it up to a poll here.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-8833 - Nineteen Seventy-Six

I know I did this format the last time I did a Class of '76 article, but it just seems to fit so well.

Fairly close polls, but it looks like I'll be covering SCP-8833 this week. This poll will determine the video for the 8th.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-8400 - The Birch Knight and the Game of Three Chestnuts

Been a minute since I did a video this long, but it was worth it.

Back to fantasy this week with SCP-8400. This poll will determine the video for the 1st of July.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-3105 - A Journey Home

Definitely not too high on the horror scale here, but it's a nice short one after so many big parts.

Alright, well as mentioned, I'll be working on SCP-3105 this week. This poll will determine the video for the 24th.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-8888 - Eight Ball - Part Four

Whew, finally done. Probably should hold off on multi-parters for a little bit.

I'll finally be wrapping up Eight Ball this week, but we're going to hold off on another poll just a little longer, as the next video will be on SCP-3105. It's been on the polls for over a year now, so it's time.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-8888 - Eight Ball - Part Three

Yeah, it's a pretty lengthy SCP.

View Post

Next SCP Foundation Video

It's looking like 8888 will end up being 4 videos. Perhaps a younger, more ambitious Mangg would get it done in 3, but the ABCs of Death really did a number on me, haha.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-8888 - Eight Ball - Part Two

I love Dr. Wettle, and I need a buddy cop tale with him and Lord Blackwood as soon as possible.

Marching right along with Part Two of Eight Ball.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-8888 - Eight Ball - Part One

Wasn't quite sure where to end this part for a suitable enough cliffhanger. It was either going to be a bit too short or a bit too long, so I just went somewhere in the middle.

Looks like we'll be going from one multi-part video to another, with SCP-8888. As mentioned, this is a long one, and probably will end up being 3 parts to cover.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-8002 - Maslov's Fire - Part Two

I thought this was a great article, but I will say that Maslov's specific way of speaking is sort of lost in my summary, so I hope people check out the article itself.

Part Two of Maslov's Fire will be coming this week, and the winner of last week's poll will be decided next week.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-8002 - Maslov's Fire - Part One

This is probably one of those where I would've preferred to just work on it for a week and a half or two weeks and do it all at once, but I know a lot of people would rather just have the weekly video.
