Finally: the Premiere 1.0 follow-up is coming soon

Fresh previews, right off the press! Here we see a Krazy Ken in his natural environment, setting up a Macintosh IIci, forgetting to plug stuff in, and then wondering "why the frick isn't it working???"

There's some goof-ups in this episode. I usually edit those scenes down in the final cuts, but I want to release more extended scenes and deleted scenes as part of the Patreon perks. Stay tuned for those.

A quick eBay find - a future installation sensation

My Macintosh TV is currently on Macintosh System 7.1. It may not seem like it's much different from 7.6, but it's 5 years apart. There's many new features in 7.6, and the Mac TV could really use them.

I found this CD on eBay, and I will feature it in a future installation sensation.

The longest Krazy Ken reel ever

An "Installation Sensation" quickly turned into an "Installation Frustration" when I encountered 2 big roadblocks with the Solus Linux episode. 

1 hour 47 minutes and 52 seconds of footage. HOLY CRAP! I think this is the largest reel for any Krazy Ken video shoot ever. Trust me, I'll edit it  down into an amazing episode, but it's… a lot to go through.

I'm aiming to have this one ready for this Thursday. The schedule isn't final yet, but that's the goa...

Phew… what a week (5 episodes filmed)

I started filming 5 Krazy Ken episodes over the holidays. I've never filmed so much of that show in a condensed amount of time. However, 3 episode are on hold because of technical hiccups—but that's the fun part about the show. Its unscripted nature sometimes makes it difficult to plan shoots. The videos will still be very fun… sometimes they're more fun when stuff blows up.

Macintosh meets arcade

I'm filming a bunch of episodes during the holiday work break, and one of them is the Macintosh TV follow-up. In this episode, I'll show more of the TV capabilities.

I simply couldn't resist… I hooked up a plug-in-play TV joystick via the RCA jacks and VIOLA! Instant arcade machine, complete with the CRT aesthetic. I'll have more to share soon!

It's time for a Krazy Ken duo! On Tuesday, I'll take my AppleCD 300 eBay purchase and set it up! I'm sure that'll go off without a hitch *wink*. Also… SPOILER ALERT… the seller of the CD 300 left a System Software CD in the caddy! Not sure if that was on purpose or not, but that can be extremely useful in a future video!

And on Thursday, it's time for a subject that I've wanted to do a video on for a loooong time—the Macintosh TV. I've merely teased this stuff to the public. They ...

Windows 10 PC episode preview

Boy… I wish I had this preview out sooner. I am sorry! I fell ill, and life got super-busy! But I'm still grateful for many things in life, so I'm happier than a pig in $h!t.

What's in the next episode?

WOW! I've been filming and editing Krazy Ken (mostly) all weekend! Another episode you can expect to see soon is about the AppleCD 300—which I teased in the Macintosh IIci episode.

Well, that was a fun shoot!

The Macintosh TV video shoot was phenomenal. Oh, my gosh… I surprised myself multiple times in this episode (all caught on camera).

I'm aiming for this episode to be out next week (not this Thursday), but I'll get some more sneak peeks for you guys because you deserve it ; )

Getting ready for the big one!

This is a Macintosh that I've wanted in my collection for years. Thanks to the moral and financial support of you awesome patrons (and the wonderful tech community) this is now a reality! 

I have a feeling I'm going to get a couple Krazy Ken episodes out of this bad boy! I also plan to showcase this computer in Vintage Apple Vault volume 3 (if we get that far).

I'm filming this episode tomorrow. I can't wait to share it with you!

Seeing the Macintosh TV for the first time (all on camera)

Hello again!

When I went to pickup the Macintosh TV at the Macnician store (which was the first time I saw a Mac TV in person) I had a friend film all the moments on an iPhone.

I will use clips from this recording in an upcoming Krazy Ken episode (and in Vintage Apple Vault). 

Soon, I'll let you awesome patrons watch these clips waaaaay before they're ever public, so keep an eye out!

We're gonna time-travel

Over the past few days, I filmed technology ranging from 1987 to 2018. My DeLorean is out of plutonium.

I can't wait to share. The Macintosh IIci content is gonna kick ass because it will be my petri dish / experimental computer for all sorts of System 7 shenanigans.

And thanks for your pledges, I threw some spare money at this baby—an AppleCD 300. Since the Macintosh IIci predates buil...

But wait, there's more (multiple video shoots)

In addition to the custom PC Windows 10 installation sensation, there was more content filmed for the show. This was the most Krazy Ken content I've filmed in one day, if I recall.

The Premiere 1.0 episode (which has been a hit) spiraled a whole bunch of vintage Mac tinkerings, experiments, and explorations. Just look at all those gadgets stacked on top of each other!

Cool stuff is coming, and I wanted you lovely patrons to see the first photos. Stay tuned for more.

The first custom PC on the show.

I've done 70+ episode of Krazy Ken, and to the best of my recollection, there's never been a custom PC on the show.

On an upcoming episode (date to be determined) you'll see Krazy Ken, with guest United Wave, show off the PC and get software installed.

It's sure to be a 100% seamless and painless process!!!

A $10,000 Computer? Damaged?!

Welp. It happened.

The next episode of Krazy Ken will be a story time / after action report episode involving an iMac Pro. Something broke on it. Was it any of the intricate electronics? No! It was the ALUMINUM FOOT!!! THE FRICKING FOOT!

The new episode will be up on Friday due to US Thanksgiving on Thursday.

So I hopped around Craigslist for vintage Macs. As usual, I like to keep my eyes peeled for products I can feature on Vintage Apple Vault and Krazy Ken's Tech Misadventures. Then I happened upon this beauty.
