Ah, famous last words! I was hard at work on the InfoGear iPhone episode, and suddenly the display contrast looked very dark, and the adjustment dials stopped working. And this thing is a BEEYATCH to disassemble. While taking it apart, 2 capacitors loosely fell out of the unit.
So it's broke. What's next? Thankfully, Steve from Mac84 is going to attempt to repair it. In the meantime, I found an online seller who had another unit; it's shipping to me now...
