Just added a natural Day/Night cycle at about 20x real time (slower than the gif, which just demonstrates the time system in general). Players earn passive income every day through the running of the guild hall, and certain things are only available during nighttime/daytime.
Also, nearly up to 50 patrons! Will start running polls once we get there.

We’re well on our way to a demo. The bulk of my dev time is split between four things: creating/editing assets, writing content, generating maps and nailing down gameplay systems. Of these, altering assets to fit the new 3D perspective is by far the most tedious, but also has the clearest indication of progress.
Another headache is creating maps suited for 3D and isometric, which means that the old school of map design I have been using is thrown out the window as there are now ...

To state the obvious, switching from 2D to three different perspective modes (3D overhead, isometric, 2D overhead) is a tremendous undertaking. The greatest difficulty of which is converting 2D sprites meant to be seen from above into 3D models. For now the game will have a Paper Mario-esque look in 3D, while it will look perfectly fine in isometric or 2D. Certain models I have already begun converting to 3D (such as beds and couches).

I'm excited to announce that as the other game I'm working on, Singularity: Tactics Arena is now 100% content complete, I will be diverting my attention to Memoirs, which means that development can get started in earnest. One of the first steps in generating your character for Memoirs of a Battle Brothel is choosing your background. Your background will determine the amount of starting funds you get, whether your character gets stat bonuses as a result of previous experiences, and even affinity with certain factions. Hi all,
I've added an additional benefit to the $5 and $10 tiers: a credit in the full game and also the demo when it's released. Currently, I'm considering additional benefits depending on the length of time people have been supporting me/total amount spent. It never made much sense that patrons don't get bonuses based on that, so look for that in the future.
I've also added two additional patron tiers, in case anyone is interested in checking those out.

Hi all,
Thanks again for following and supporting me. I just wanted to lay out a short-term road map for the development of Memoirs of A Battle Brothel as we approach 2020. My priority right now is building the community and gathering funds for development. Although development will go ahead regardless of the results of the Kickstarter or Patreon, funding will decide how much content will be in the game.

TLDR; It’s like Battle Brothers but with hookers in a cyberpunk setting. Also relationships, character building, skill checks, animated waifu humping, lots of moddable guns/battleaxes, long ass story, big hub locations, diplomacy, brothel-base building, kickass synthwave music, permanent trauma statuses, classes and subclasses, and deep stats-based stuff for people who are into that like a fetish.
