She is the youngest of her fifteen sisters, being only 174 years old, she is the goddess of early spring frost, so she has most of the year off, making her carefree and bored sometimes. Ayaka was playing with these humans a long time ago, the humans would hide in the tall grass and she would have to find them. After some time, Ayaka went inside for a cup of water and got distracted by a conversation, by the time she was done she completely forgotten what she was doing. Ayaka loves showing affection to her little pets.
Some of her humans enjoy this, some of them not so much. She has humans who think her gentle kisses are a threat and try to appease her with sacrifices, she however just gets saddened that some of her humans have died and gives those human terrariums some extra kisses for comfort.

Ayaka loves owning pets. She's been on her human collecting phase for a few hundred years now. Her sisters wonder when she will get bored of them because it is a very weird animal to collect. Humans look so similar to people, it's just kinda gross to watch them squirm and move around. It makes it kinda sad when they accidentally get crushed too. Poor Ayaka sleeps years at a time therefore when she wakes up it's hard for her to recall what she was doing last time she wen't to take a nap. This is why her presious pet humans live in self sufficient eco systems, since Ayaka can only give them their treats when she's awake.
