Hey friends,

I want to be upfront with you. I lost my WorldPainter files, the most important part of my whole map-making process. These files held all my complex cave layers and everything that made my maps one of a kind.

I still have my schematics, Minecraft worlds, and World Machine files, but honestly, losing the WorldPainter files hurts the most. They were the core of my work and there’s no easy way to replace them.

Updating Lytheris & Ilydris Soon

Now that Sylvaris has been updated, I’m also planning to upgrade both Lytheris and Illydris.

Here’s what I’ll be working on:
• Better cave systems
• New ocean ruins (including warm ocean variants)
• Ocean caves under the seas
• Improved dry grass patches in the savannas of Lytheris

These aren’t massive updates, but I felt like they needed a little love too lol.

I won't change the versions of the maps. They will remain the same.

Poll: Underwater Cave Entrances? (Not Flooded)

The underground world under oceans is pretty empty, so I'm thinking of adding air filled cave entrances on the seafloor. They don’t flood and look a bit unnatural—but could be fun and probably will make exploring better. Should I add them?

Should i add entrances to most of the large vanilla mineshafts?

These entrances would be quite discreet, and some would extend very far underground. In some cases, the entrances could appear collapsed or be filled with dirt and gravel, making them difficult to find and walk through. What do you think.. should I add them?
