Okay, here's some sketches and in-progress pictures.

• The annual checkered bikini picture with Annie from Pulse- but it'll be a comic this time.  I almost did this for a previous year (2013?) but didn't.  Someone once commented that Annie would be uncomfortable laying on her stomach because of her chest, so I thought it would be funny if she brought a special robot with her to the beach to scoop out holes.

I usually only draw Raven, so I thought I'd try drawing someone else.  I thought it would be an interesting challenge to make her look like an adult considering she's so scrawny in the old cartoon.

Jessica's superhero name is "Mastermind", so I wanted to have that theme in this chapter with her.  A lot of this is about her manipulating certain things to go in the right direction.

The person in the room is obviously Evilyn, considering we already knew Mastermind was trying to deal with her.  Jessica wants answers to questions from her, so the way to make her not afraid is to pick someone she knows- and is lesser than her.  To get Annie to help her you manipulate her ...

Some WIP stuff.

• There's going to be two Amy NSFW pictures, and this is the smaller busted of the two.  One of her in the way I expect she'll look in Materia Enhanced eventually, and the other as big as she was at the end of Missing Materia.  I haven't quite worked out the pose for the bigger picture though, I remember an artist one saying that the the bigger the breasts, the fewer creative poses.

Sleepy Rikku Alt

An edited version with her at Materia Enhanced size.  I was originally going to go with something else, but when the requests were to show some skin, I thought the top popping open would be the best way to edit it.

Pulse 429 + PSDs + WIPs

This page changed more than the average page during production.  I altered what you were seeing in a few panels.  I thought panel 4 needed more room for some dialog, and that in panel 5 it didn't make sense for Annie to be talking about how she was dressed without showing the front of her.

Okay, it almost just needs color and lettering.  The front of Jessica's helmet seems off-shaped in the last panel though.

Okay, made some big changes since the first WIP.  I altered the first panel to better match how the previous page ended, replaced the second panel with something where there is enough room for dialog, and I thought the fifth panel didn't make sense for her to be referring to her clothing but you couldn't see the front of her.

I thought I didn't draw Annie busty enough, so I added some boob but made it look more pushed up than normal.  Maybe she'll comment the outfit has a push...

• Newer version of the Aika picture.  There's some fine detail I need to reference, like adding back her boomerang.
• Eve.  I might have it so that she's wearing a shirt but the fan is blowing it upward and she doesn't care or notice.

Lucy Hair Options

I've been wondering if I should alter the hair of either Lucy or Charlotte.  They started out with different hair, but over time, Lucy's hair has grown to be the same as Charlotte's hair.

Here are some options for Lucy's hair.  I'm not sure what to keep or remove.  Keep the pigtails, keep her hair long, give her short hair, or try to go with the natural evolution if she kept growing her hair out but had the same style.

• A previous sketch of Annie.  I didn't like how her lower half was posed and reworked it a few times.
• I started this picture of Rikku and liked how it turned out so far, but wasn't sure how she should be dressed.  Maybe in her FFX-2 outfit?

NSFW Poll Results

There's still enough Patreons for anyone to win, but voting has slowed down. At this point, I assume Amy will win.

If that continues, I'll probably draw two pictures- one for how I think she'll end up in ME, and one for what she looked like at the end of the old MM.

It seemed like Xom was easily winning for a while though. Lucy did surprisingly well, equal to Juno.

I thought this was an unusual pose choice, and wasn't sure if her chest would block out too much of her anatomy for the foreshortening to look right.

Beach Lulu

Sometimes something hits you, and I wanted to draw Lulu.  It's always bothered me that she only had one (odd) official outfit (even though she appeared in two different Final Fantasy games).  So it started out as normal Lulu, and then I decided to draw her wearing something else.

It also seemed weird to me that she's a black mage in leather and belts in on a tropical island.  She should have had a summer outfit (just like Tidus, Rikku and Wakka should have had winter outf...

You're starting to see a wider range of characters just just people from Pulse.  This was also the year I started redesigning the characters from Pulse (something I should have done when I started the reboot).
