Pulse 288 WIP 2

I think I have a slightly different plan for panel three.  Lucy doesn't tell them that they she deserves to dress them up, she reminds them that Charlotte had two other alternative costumes originally to choose between.  That they should each wear one of them.

The deal is, I've been considering giving Charlotte a different superhero outfit.  The she ends up wearing she'll comment is better than she remembered and take it with her.

Pulse 388 WIP 1

This is still pretty early.  No dialog yet, I'm still trying to figure out how to balance the page here.  I feel like I need to have kind of a wrap up.  Charlotte and other characters are going to be the focus of the next chapter.  At this point, Annie and Lucy have barely slept since the sleepwalker event yesterday.  I figure they are both about ready to fall over.

A Day Off No Matter What page 4

This isn't designed like a typical webcomic.  In a webcomic, you wouldn't start out with an almost splash page just because it might be a waste of a weekly update to do something that didn't have a lot of story in it.

In this page, you'd probably not want to end a webcomic page with a question.  Unless it was some huge cliffhanger.

A Day Off No Matter What page 4 WIP

Trying different things.  Because there isn't much text here, I just wrote it out old-school, and I'll letter it up when I get to that point.

It'll be kind of obvious where this is going in a page or two.  I might need to edit Annie's text around to make sure she's giving the right hints.

At this early phase, I'll usually just draw gutter lines.  Then later I'll fill them in, and fill in the gutter border around the edges with white.

One more page to this chapter.  I have a couple of different versions for the payoff here, not sure which I'll pick.

The next chapter will be sort of from Charlotte's point of view, and almost be kind of set up as a reintroduction of the characters and setting some some limited degree.

I don't know if I'm going to try to draw the text on Annie's shirt, or use fonts and try to distort it.  I still think Annie looks weird in the first panel for some reason.  I'll have to try to analyze it.

I feel like there's a few places where I need to be careful or this page won't make sense.  Something seems weird about Annie in the first panel, but it could just be the baggy clothes.

Sega Bikini WIPs

Okay, so Juno and Nani tied.  (if you don't know who they are, they were both characters in a webcomic I used to make with someone else.)  It's hard to put them both together, Juno was one of the tallest, and Nani the shortest.

If you look in panel four, there's an early shot of Charlotte's father's costume.

I'm not sure Charlotte having underclothes under her costume doesn't work with older pages (if you could see tears with skin underneath, but it makes sense she'd have something under it.

There's at least two things hinted or talked about here that are important on the next page I guess I shouldn't spoil them.

Vast Cosmos Comic (2009-2011)

This is the comic I almost made instead of remaking Pulse in 2010.  It was going to be a big space comic.  There's the original paces I made, 2009ish concept pictures for two of the leads, and then 2018ish sketches where I redesigned them (Lumina is the one with the HH jacket in one, Ajax is the woman in the last one).

I made the first few pages roughly, hopefully they can be understood.  She's flying her missing father's ship and the pirates fire a torpedo into the cargo...

Demi Comic (2012)

This is an old comic I made in 2002.  My idea was short sci-fi cop stories.  I'm not sure why they had swords, maybe it was inspired by the recent Star Wars Prequel movies?

Changing the Patreon around

I'm wondering if I should edit the Patreon here.  My original plan was to have two Patreons, one for Pulse, one for NSFW comics and anything else.  I'd let the success of each decide what I made.
