A Day Off No Matter What 1 WIP

I did this a couple of days ago and didn't have a chance to post it.  Here's a possible opening for the beach comic.  I'll set this so all Patreons can see this.

The thought for this was to try to make something that seemed like a slice of life for a superhero, but not have more than a little combat.

Okay, I think I have an idea of what to make.  Something that's kind of a slice of life, Annie and Lucy (because she's the person who could be paired up with Annie and them even consider not going on a crazy adventure).

I think it'll be called "Day off no matter what."

I think 3-4 (new) pages left in the flashback.  Next page is Thomas coming to terms with this, and also trying to figure out if this means Delphi was wrong and they can't change the future.

Then maybe three pages setting up what they do wrong, and then pages where they notice something isn't following their plan.

Beach Comic Ideas?

It -seems- like "beach comic" is going to win the poll for Pulse side-comics.

What is everyone expecting out of that, and/or any ideas for what that could be like?  It clearly has to involve bathing suits, and maybe some kind of greater reason?

One idea is that they are just at the beach?  More like a slice of life story, and something happens?  Just keep it casual?

Option #2 is that they are looking for something?  Maybe Annie and Lucy once saw a superhe...

Way behind on this, but I might be able to make it up.  I've changed this around a lot, and needed to add or move things around.

I was a little worried that last page might have seemed like they were giving up on Proton too soon, so I wanted his face to crack open like some of the other victims to show it's too late.

Which Pulse Side-Comic Should I Make?

None of these will be endless.  Some of these might have a limited maximum page count, others can be made in segments, and I'd get to an end point and then have another poll which could be more of the same idea, or a different option.

Everyday Arim 1-2 WIP

I set this so that all tiers can see this, instead of just the usual WIP tiers.

I probably should just have a poll on what exclusive comic to make, but support was voiced for an Arim comic, so I was kinda inspired and drew something.  I figure this would be kind of a slice of life story, or a day in the life of Arim.  Ironically, I think it would be more enlightening into Mira instead.

Pulse Side-Comics

(This is kind of a big question, so I'm asking it to everyone).

If I did Pulse side-comics that were exclusive to Patreon (or exclusive for a period of time), what kind of comics would you like?

I think they would likely be slice-of-life maybe?  Kind of like little insights into the their day to day lives?  They could either be set in the most recent available time, or I could set them between certain requested pages?  Like maybe I'd add on to the space between one ...

I did alter the last few panels back to something more like my original versions after all.  I wasn't altering what was going to happen, but the pacing, which sometimes requires you to remove things to keep things moving.

In the end, I decided to keep Proton's comments.  I figure both his powers are still growing, and he hasn't gone all-out yet.  He probably saw any B-Class hero as someone he couldn't fight evenly with.

Made a few other changes.  Still haven't decided about those last two panels, it depends on how long I want the fight to last.  I originally wanted Proton to think that the Silver Dragon was holding back, unaware how strong he had gotten.  Now I wonder if should move ahead faster.

First page of chapter 28 "Divergence".  We should get back to the present in this chapter.  

The point of this is to show the first person he had to capture, to show what happened that altered the future, and remind the reader about some of the times I've hinted at differences between what Thomas expected, and what really happened.

I was going to have him capture Warp, the girl instead.  But I thought Proton here could look the most interesting going out of control....

The first page of chapter 28 "Divergence".  We should get back to the present in this chapter, and it also explains what happened to make the future different from the visions... or what Thomas did accidentally knowing the future to alter the future.

There's a chance there will be pages that are cut and paste panels from previous pages to show all of the times either the wrong thing happened, or all of the times Thomas did something to try to correct the timeline.

In a way, this is the big chapter.  This is the first idea of Pulse as a superhero.

I made this chapter intentionally to fool readers of the older Pulse comic.  In the older Pulse comic, Annie got huge breasts from an experiment to give someone else (and accidentally her) powers.  I wasn't sure what older readers were expecting here, but I wanted to keep her final form a little up in the air during the story. &nbs...
