Bounced around on different things today. Tiny bit of work on Blues’s hands. Started on his padding. Sewed in his zipper and neck liner. And then finished up attaching his tail.

Hands and feet for Blues cut out. He’s also getting 2 sets of feet.

It’s a little hard to show pics but sabers zip off tail worked great! Can’t see the zip from the outside. The tail is partially foam core so it has enough structure to stand up like a husky tail, but I also wanted it removable for easy washing of the body.

Working more on sabers feet paws. Tried to make some little labels for the right and the left. Doing anything with the sublimation printer always takes me so long even though it looks simple there is such a learning curve. But each time I learn something for the future.

Working on sabers nose. Used some foam iron on stabilizer to help keep the shapes sharp. Turning that nose ring right side out was quite the task!

These are just practice with the prints that came out too brown but AH! So cool. The left one got dog hair on it somehow haha will have to make sure to avoid that for the real prints

Ahhh so excited about these sublimation eyes. Left was first print which came out a bit brown, after some help from tech support Cassius we got a much better print. Will try transferring them to the eye mesh tomorrow!

Rough carve for Saber. Wanted to give a little tip about the cheeks, I always carve out a big chunk on the inside of the cheek piece. This will reduce the weight of the head, helps the user hear better, and prevents pressure on the user’s ear when wearing it.

Parts for the Jackal premade. We have paws done by splitgrapesoda for this guy! She used our pattern to sew them a little while back. Finishing this guy should be a breeze now, very thankful for the help!
