Murks are the most prominent species on the surface, A subspecies of Imp that adapted to the constant war, having an instinctual need for it to maintain mental stability.

I dedicated this week to fixing current issues with existing weapons before I add new textures and shells and bullets and what not
Theres stuff like making the screen shake, bulletholes, smoke coming out of said bulletholes, dynamic lighting when firing, small things like that which makes firing guns so fun like in most games. I try to rely on vanilla DOOM assets as little as possible, custom sounds and textures all edited and made by Ya boi
I'd say we're well on schedule for the October deadline
To reiterate, I want a full roster of Hexcalliber weapons, as well as a custom HUD, made to be playable with DOOM 2. I'm putting all my focus to make sure the gunplay is as fun as the biggest mods in the community.
I still have a ways to go, but learning how to make this mod is incredibly fun, and I can't wait to see how far it's gone by then.
To be honest, im not entirely satisfied with this animation, but I'll roll with it for now

He seems polite.
Weapon mechanics are going smoothly, Just finished adding the additional bottom details on the Maxim. Hoping to add more polish to it, before I move on to the shotgun.
More is to be done though. Ejected casings, custom sounds, and then I have to follow it up with every other weapon too.
The main reason I haven't posted Is because of all the boring technical crap.
That, and I have been addicted to Monster Hunter
I'm still putting all my focus into weapons, to make sure the feeling of each gun is consistent and satisfying. I'll keep you all posted, every step of the way, and once I'm done with the arsenal, I'll post the PK3, and you...
There's so much I like about this little animation. The cycling rounds, the sketchy ink blots as it fires, the animation smear on the reciever knob, the halftones, obviously.

Now I just have to do this ink shading and half tones for EVERY other thing. It's gonna be an absolute nightmare but it'll be worth it in the end, I believe

Correct. Simply cause the Hexcaliber is one-of-a-kind. It would be strange if you would find multiple Hexcalibers scattered around after a firefight. So instead of picking up the guns, It more or less "Assimilates" with them. being able to take the shape of the gun in an instant and use it's ammunition
Helped out some family at their work and i sorta janked my wrist a little bit
Also I apparently had some unpaid debts i completely forgot so I have been hard at commission work to make that dosh, Hopefully ill be back on track soon

But I tell you what I DO have. A trial version of FLStudio, and a goofy little leitmotif for Vicky
Due to a longstanding loss of internet, work was rather slow. but i did manage to atleast get a hold of some WiFi and read through a guide to customizing the HUD.
You'd figure it would be an easy part but theres quite a lot to get through.
In the middle of it I took a break and fiddled with some menu sprites, just for the hell of it
I can't put up a video on it cause vimeo is janked, idk why. But I have managed to reverse engineer JetPlane's Mobility script and tweak it a bit to my liking! Now Vicky can walljump indefinitely, allowing for some fun verticality
I aint bullshittin. get in my server (if youre a $5 patron) and you can see the video there
