The idea and mood struck! I realized that I don't have a petite and simple OC, a lithe lady with a lot of leg. A quick update on this month's plans

There is stuff moving down the pipeline as we speak. I am actually excited to see how this turns out. Hopefully everything works out!

In the meantime, I'll continue working on commissions until late next week so I can take my birthday weekend off. Depending on how things go next week I'll know how to proceed with the stuff I'm working on in secret. After that, I'll be working on the patreon monthlies and then on more commissions & other works.

Getting down some color on this piece, messing around with the greens and whatnot. Will most likely be finishing this one off tomorrow or the day after.

So, for coloring like this, what I do is just lay done and mix the colors. Then, I adjust hues and go over several blending modes to add more contrast. And finally, I overlay a red version of the sketch at 50~% opacity and paint over it to blend and add detail. That is the part that takes the most time, making it look ready and finalize...

Yes, its finally October. Not only a brand new month for ideas and sketches, but its also the best month of the year. Yours truly's birthday is soon at hand and I have some plans that hopefully can come to fruition by Halloween time as a sort of spooky holiday gift for the holiday season.

Its pretty cool getting to work on these, I rarely do big pieces so its nice to do a couple every once in a while. Several characters in a scene is challenging, its all about believability: making sure that the spacial relation of things is believable. After that its all a matter of rendering, which is the part that always takes the longest.
