I've never been really happy with the name we wound up with for the original comic. It worked at the time, but it definitely wasn't the ideal name.

Finally, the shot is done!
Apologies for how long it's taken. These non-sex shots take way longer than you'd expect. Sex shots end up being around 8-24 frame loops at the most. This shot was a whopping 120 frames!
As with the others, this is 100% puppet animation. Came out pretty nice, don't you think?

I decided to splice the recent shot and the kiss together, to get an idea of what the final thing will look like. I did end up modifying the animation on the kiss to better match up with the end of the nuzzling shot, and I'm quite pleased with the look. :D
Only a couple more shots left in the intro section of Under Pressure! (Basically the first 2 pages from the original comic.) Then we'll get to...

I absolutely adore 2D animated VFX. Smoke, fire, water, various interesting bodily fluids, etc.
Unfortunately for me, these sort of things usually need to be done with traditional animation, frame by frame, in order to look any good. As you know... that's not really my thing.

Another day, another shot from Under Pressure in the bag!
I was a little apprehensive about this shot, as I'd heard that kissing is a bit of a changing thing to draw, especially in anime. The original frame form the comic shows the aftermath of the kiss, but not the kiss itself, but I really wanted to show the kiss animated.

In the original comic, the first panel shows the Maje spouting a bit of exposition of how they've captured Voyager. I really wanted to add a bit of an establishing shot of the ship (as a good many Trek episodes do).
However, I was extremely apprehensive about this, and whether I could get the look right. I don't mind 3D mech and vehicles showing up in 2D animation, but I definitely prefer that old, hand drawn look in older anime. That's the look I wanted to go for.
