i worked with streambeats before on a christmas song, they said they had a base ready and wanted to know if i could write a topline (the main melody) + lyrics and sing for it. I said yes because I really loved the prechorus + chorus instrumental. this is a rough draft! also porter robinson inspired. :D

making an EP

basically a mini album! I set this goal for myself for the next year. I think a lot of times I get so jaded and detached from certain things in my life that what gives me the most fulfillment is creating pieces of art to live on past me. It makes me feel like I have value and something to offer HAHA....Patreon is now my therapy (not really but y'know).

I think it'd be super interesting to explore a story via the songs, and to have them all connect in some way thematically.

I thought I'd chronicle HOW THIS CAME TO BE because it's pretty dang cool.

I tweeted a while ago how my mom wanted me to make a song like NewJeans or some other bubbly kpop song (she's a huge stan, you should see her youtube shorts feed). An actual kpop song writer/producer saw it and reached out to me. this is the very first rough draft i sent the producer on june 2019!! idk why but it makes me wanna hug myself from 4+ years ago. ;_; just younger, more new to music,  etc etc.. it's cool to see how the song changed to the final version though.

i contacted an old friend for an irl music video, so fingers crossed!! i'm pretty self conscious in front of the camera still but it's something i've always wanted to do!!
