Not long now before our Little Nightmares 2 musical sees the light of day! Since wrapping up the primary chunks of filming, we've been burning the midnight oil working on all of the VFX shots for the project. As noted in this video, we just filmed the last few (small) shots that we needed, so we're hoping to finish the remaining VFX shots tonight or early tomorrow. After that, it'll be time to focus on all of the sound design and all the little last minute changes that we do on every project....

As some of you are already aware, we were out of town Wednesday night through Thursday evening to film on location for Little Nightmares 2! Our trip took us to the Sequoia National Park, which is about 4 hours north of where we live (3 hours to the forest itself, 1 extra hour to our shooting location inside the forest). It was great to be filming somewhere outside of the house again, especially in such a gorgeous place with massive trees to help sell how small Mono and Six are supposed to be....

Greetings, encounterers! We're getting ready to head out of town briefly to film on location in a forest area, but before we do, I wanted to upload this REport from last night! Theoretically, after we've filmed in the forest, all of the footage for this project (other than maybe a few pick-ups) will be filmed! After putting in a long day of work on VFX shots, it was time that we accepted reality -- there simply isn't enough time this week to film all the remaining shots AND do all of the post production work. So, we finally pulled the trigger and decided to delay our Little Nightmares 2 musical by one week. With only a few days left to go before release, we spent another night last night filming EVEN MORE green screen shots! Progress on our Little Nightmares 2 musical continues to chug along! Filming has officially begun on the upcoming Little Nightmares 2 musical! We got a bunch of footage last night for the opening sequence of the project and are spending today putting together some more props and sets so that we can film again either tomorrow or Friday! Everything is going (mostly) smoothly, but there's definitely a LOT that needs to be done for this project still. That said, we're still aiming for a premiere date of May 14th, so stay tuned for more REports as that date approac...

We didn't mention it in the video, but we're also testing a few vocalist ideas for this project and may end up recording multiple versions of the song.
