Lightbringer Chapter 1, Part 31

Well ... we are going to start a sequence very similar to the Before the Falling's narrative: Asmodeus narrating what happened (or part of what happened) in heaven's cave. We are still on Lilith's timeline, since Asmey is going to tell that part of the story, and therefore some of the following panels will have a grayish effect.

Two timelines weren't enough, SO, how about ONE FLASHBACK of Lilith's timeline that connects to Lucifer's timeline?

Normally I don't like to put so much text on the panels, but this time it was inevitable... Asmodeus needs to talk. Get ready to know the story of the demon of lust.

I have rewritten these scenes more than three times, trying to put the all the info well, so that it remains natural and not a big and dense exposure. I hope you like it :)

Here comes THE ANGST, OH YEAH 

I think, of all the parts of Lightbringer and Before the Falling, this is one of the most difficult ones to draw. I realized my limitations when drawing more complex camera angles ... but I am giving my best to improve it!

On the other hand, my right wrist still hurts a little and I draw slowly and taking breaks, so the updates will be further appart, thanks a lot for your patience and understanding!

I would like to comment some details about Asmodeus and Lilith here:  According to mythology (specifically the version of Lexicon Talmudicum, by the German scholar Johannes Buxtorf) Asmodeus identifies Lilith as his queen and they both breed thousands of demons (Lilith is sometimes known as the mother of all demons), and when the Archangels go after her they punished her by making her watch hundreds of her children die every day.  

I am not going to use this part of mythology ...

Ineffable Inferno's Fic Contest Winner

First of all, I would like to clarify that it has been a VERY DIFFICULT decision to make, to choose only fic.... because I love ALL OF THEM, and I mean it!!.

I have to say something here: for the system of hierarchy of spheres of angels I based on the one made by Dante in the Divine Comedy, BUT I was confused in the order: for Dante, the high spheres are the first, second, the third and consecutive, but I, in Before the Falling and also here, the upper echelons are the ninth, the eighth, the seventh... backwards xD It was a mistake I made and it is going to stay that way.
