Today we have some guest art from Sturkwurk! Figured we would do some wedding artwork as my own wedding looms around the corner.
I know I said I would have a page of Dress to Thrill today. I basically curled up in a ball in the dark last night. Overwhelemed as I am in the final week to the wedding. wrapping up large work projects and wedding stuff.
I'm working to make sure we get pages while I'm missing in action over the next couple weeks.

I know this may only interest a smaller group of people, but I thought I'd share these pencils as well since I'm pulling back the curtain today.
A challenge that comes up when having pages with multple people and multiple objects is trying to make sure they are all the correct scale to each other. Stephanie reconnects with a friend we haven't seen in a long while during her visit to the salon.
Monday was a few hours early and today's is a few hours late. Wedding stuff is starting to kick my ass, but not in the way I expected.

Stephanie is also looking to get her hair touched up. From a quick chat, it seems people want to keep at least some of the purple, or a darker shade.
So I have a few tests to review that have different styles and color highlights as she goes back to her 'natural' black hair and purple. Also getting some more looks that take her down the retro/rockabetty look to help match her clothes.

EDIT 2: I see a lot of love for Option 11, but also some confusions as I see some people thinking it is bangs and some seeing it as pulled back. It was intended to be pulled back. So I did a couple more quick sketches to show a pulled back vs bangs above.
I already did sketches for Steph's hair update (next week), I leaned pretty hard into bangs for her to go with a bit of a Betty Paige look.
EDIT: Updated all the options with color to keep it fair.

A batch of new pages are available on TGComics for everyone to read! I'm 'reprinting' them here as a bit of a digest and refresher on the events.
For our regular Patrons, you've had access to these pages for almost 2 months. They are basically the same with a little bit of grammer edits from the TGC team. But I know some enjoy being able read pages all in a row.
I'm considering doing this type of post regularly, let me know what you think about it below.

Lexi get's a new accent! I'm going a little heavy at first, but I think the font will do most of the heavy lifting long term. It's pretty distinct. I also made an adjustment to Stpehanie's font as well. Making it slightly larger. I was starting to find it a little difficult to read.

The girls are back on the stream after being off the air for a month. Some things have changed over that time, and some are very much the same.

It is still active, but going to call it unless everyone suddenly is motivated to change their vote. Looks like Lexi is getting an accent/dialect.

Our next page (Wednesday) will show our girls a month later. Hopefully also featuring Lexi in clothes that fit.
We are leaving a bunch of threads dangling, but if we don't, we'll never move forward. We'll see what becomes of all those aspects.
