When designing Stephanie, or even Gwen, I do give myself some guidelines. One of them is that Steph should have wider hips than most anyone else on-screen. That gets a bit more complicated when I introduce the new femme Xavier/Lexi and also what to make sure she has notable curves as well. Nothing that makes her extraordinary, but at least at some degree that help reinforce her new status as a woman.

EDIT: I made a sizable edit. Mr. Domino was right, something was missing. This is one of the pages where it hard to bring it together. Ending scenes and transition pages are always tough. You want to keep some momentum and hitting the right tone is tough and trying to keep people in character. So, I made a little edit to art and it is above!

Two Years. I've been doing this comic for two years now. It made me think about interactions with new comic creators. It's not exactly a specific question they ask, it's just a general asking for advice.
Inevitably when you put comic people together they are going to tell each other about the story, or pitch they are working on. I've been told a lot of pitches for comics over the years. They are never practical.

I had as an option for Steph to trade with someone with a more extreme style and leave her as a punk or goth look. I thought it would be fun to do some mock ups of that.
the punk look is a little less cluttered than I think I'd go for if it's in the story, but I can see this look, especially the hair more suited to Xavier. And would likely leave a more punk style for her.

This week we are getting the gender transformation of Xavier. I have a bunch of sketches to do with you all.
Normally when introducing a new character or a new version of a character, you need to do some drawings to really figure out how they look and make sure they stand out. Finally getting a look at Femme Xavier. She kept a lot of her features through the changes, a little more to go as we will see on the next page. Hard to see her figure as she got smaller.
