Donetsk has been shelled two days in a row. Yesterday's strike was on a military target, as outlined in the Situation Report, and regrettably, because of the proximity of the logistics node to civilian businesses, Russian officials claim seven people were killed.

No SITREP for today in large part due to yesterday's blizzard.
While there was fighting (remember, the report looks backward at the previous 24 hours) it was harassment, recon, and contact touches. The only fighting was in Bakhmut and Marinka due to urban environments, with no verifiable territorial control changes.

There are a number of videos showing how much snow fell from Donetsk to Svatove, and it is a lot. It is the largest late-season storm in a decade and a record-setter for Donetsk (city).
The heaviest snow fell in the Russian rear echelon. Along the line of conflict from Avdiivka north to Svatove, troops on both sides are buried. The only places where there was notable fighting today were within Marinka and Bakhmut.

Ridiculous amounts of snow falling in eastern Ukraine and the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.
Along the Russia-Ukraine border, Shakhty has received up to 50 centimeters of snow according to computer models. Rostov-on-Don has received significantly less, 5 to 7 centimeters, while Donetsk has received 15 to 20 centimeters and Bakhmut over 20 centimeters. The Svatove and Kreminna Operational Areas have also received more than 20 centimeters of snow and it still coming down.
