#1004 Nastia Tension

This was one of the most inspiring and significant encounters of the past year. A photographer, a model, a manager, a creator. Despite all the difficulties she faces every day, each meeting is a huge burst of energy.

This session wasn't my typical style, but I still accept the results as 'my photos.' The tension visible in some of the photographs perfectly reflects my associations with this girl.

I was curious about the 45x6 back for the Mamiya RB67. Since I rarely use it, I accidentally overlapped frames (for those who don't know - after taking a photo with the Mamiya, you need to separately cock the shutter lever and advance the film in the back, unlike the Hasselblad where one lever does both jobs). Following this accident, Magda and I created this photograph.

I've long postponed publishing these photos. I couldn't choose between the two. Together - there's no point, they're too similar.
