Set Updates:

• Lots of small changes to the overall design of the room 
• expanded the outside a bit
• added background Flora. 
• Successful cloth simulation for hanging drapes
• added wall art detailing
• Replaced test textures with final room textures

For those that are curious, a color test is a shading and coloring pass on the sketch layer before rigging and animation to see where the lighting is going to come from and to play around with the look before committing to the full detail articulated rig.

Rio Project: Shemyay Video

Shemyay's sketch is in and we are getting ready to finally have her color test and rig assembly constructed. This is not the final version of her model. Design improvements and rig/anatomy fixes are coming.

I imported the old models from lightwave only for scaling and scene composition. This video only shows the temp model. Even at it's best it NEVER looked like anything Unity can do

That's part of my current workload.

Rio Project: Shemyay Storyboards

These are storyboards for Scene 2.1. It's a small scene featuring Shemyay that is playing on the TV when Rio and Tyler Start fucking at the Motel.

As I mentioned in the sketches post, I also plan to release this as a stand-alone Animation, and at some point, I might build on it a bit.  This scene is going to loop for a while on the TV.

There is only 1 other part to this I need to storyboard for an additional 4 shots, and that's the entire scene.

You might be wondering what's Shemyay sketches doing in the Rio project? This is a cameo scene for the film. It's one of the shortest scenes in the film and will also serve as a stand-alone scene outside of the film.

What's Going On at HTH Studios

Hey everyone,

I know we've been pretty quiet here, what with all the craziness that's been going on from losing our website developer, and unity coder nearly a month apart, and the sudden security issues that required a redesign of the website by myself. We're finally at a place where we can give some updates and let everyone know what we'll be doing moving forward both with our site, Patreon, and our games.

Website and Link Updates

We've fixed the security issues and have a temporary website up. Links work again as well.

We still have a ways to go to get this whole website figured out, but for now it doesn't look like we're dead/disappeared/etc.

Website Store and Link Issues

Our website developer has disappeared on us. We've been trying to contact them for a couple of weeks and we have had no response, and now the security notification is popping up, and we're on our own to fix it. Unfortunately, it's looking like the links aren't working either. We are looking at what our options are but neither of us has experience with this level of problems.

As things develop I'll make more posts to let everyone know what's going on.

Studio Updates

Hello everyone,

Things have been a bit quiet on our end, and it’s time we fill you in on the goings on and what our plans are.

July and August were a wreck. Towards the end of July we were forced to cut ties with our Unity coder (If you need more information about these reasons you can PM me). Less than a week later, we were dragged to California to sort out some family problems.

Alpha Team Update Next

During the website downtime, progress was made toward the next RLD Unity update. That is the next planned release. As usual, no eta. We wanted to let you all know that the next update will be something for you to test. You all helped a bunch getting RLD ready to launch and we're looking forward to letting you all get your hands on the next update so you can catch new bugs!

We're BACK!

The FTP is up, links are working, and I've sent links to everyone. They are new links. Because almost everyone throughout June didn't get a chance to download links, I've sent links to June's Patrons as well as July's so if you get duplicate messages, it's to cover everyone throughout both months.

Website Status Update: FTP Delays

After multiple attempts to upload our games to the new FTP, the cap on it was too small so we had to contact the hosting company for approval to expand the cap. We're still waiting on that. It's a holiday weekend so we're not expecting anything until Monday.

Things have a knack of going wrong for us around holidays where we can get nothing done because no one wants to or is available to work.

Website Status

Yes, unfortunately the website is still down. Here's where we're at and what the plans are:

The main focus now is restoring access to the FTP which is where links download from. There have been a couple of problems delaying this, mainly the code rewriting to work with the new server.

As far as getting the website up and running, with the site going down, we're redesigning it so things will be a little different when it goes back up. But the look of the website has  no impact ...

Website Still Down: Update

Yes, the site is still down, and with it the links for game downloads. We have paid for a new server, and our web team is moving things over as I type. The biggest delay in moving the site over is we needed to make a backup for the site, and the site is huge. With that part out of the way the transition should be faster. They have not given me a timeframe for when to expect the site up, but when I have more information I'll let everyone know.

We are looking into it. Unfortunately, because our links are hosted on the website, the links don't work either. If you've downloaded the game before now, you have it, otherwise, everything is on pause until we can figure out what happened.

An Update on Sales Tax at Patreon

RLD Unity Error Resolved

RLD Unity Link 404 Error

Sorry everyone, our webteam borked the link for the alpha test of RLD. If you've recently gotten the link and are getting a 404 error, we are aware and in communication with the webteam to fix the issue. Once that's fixed I'll make a new link and send it out to everyone on the Alpha Team.
