Ren, Ino, and Hinata ran to the village at the fastest speed the girls could manage and when they arrived, the girls were panting and trying to catch their breath while their legs throbbed in pain

Surprisingly, Karin stayed unconscious for the nine hours it took them to get back to Konoha so Ren carried her body slung over his shoulder. It wasn't even an inconvenience and besides, he probably hit her a bit too hard due to his stress from an imminent meeting with Pedochimaru. 

Ch60. Naruto's relative

Ren sprang forward and silently landed near the trio. The two sound ninjas did not even notice him, too caught up in reveling in Karin's struggle.

With a smooth movement, Ren unsealed a kunai and with a wide sweep from behind, he burrowed it right to the side of the man who was tearing Karin's clothing off. Instantly, Ren followed up by creating a shadow clone on the other side of Karin.

Ch59. Peaceful mission... not

It took the girls two hours to deal with the bodies and Ren enjoyed watching them struggle and rage. They could have just dragged them underground with the Hiding Like a Mole technique and been done with it but clearly, that did not come to his students' minds yet.

After two weeks of traveling, Ren, Ino, and Hinata finally reached the bandit camp they were supposed to wipe out. They hid in the nearby treeline as they observed their targets.

Ren arrived at the last training meeting before their 'mission'. The girls had just finished their academy year earlier today and he came bearing gifts!

"Okay, girls! Come here and let's create the shadow clones for your training!" Ren said and helped Ino create two shadow clones first because she was closer to him before he did the same for Hinata before the girls went on to practice their own stuff.

"Do you believe in the Will of Fire, Ino?" Ren asked, looking the girl in the eyes, trying to convey how serious he was.

"Of course, I do!" Ino exclaimed, feeling a bit offended that he had to ask, "You don't?" She reproachfully asked back.

But Ren only shrugged, "Nah. It's garbage."

Hinata chuckled while Ino stared at him as if he had kicked her puppy, with her jaw almost on the floor. All in all, their reaction was just as Ren expected.

Ch47. Hospital visit

Of course, after that, the ancient monkey-reject finally left Ren's hospital room, leaving him mind-blown and barely responsive to the world.

Ren inwardly admitted his defeat. The man was an undisputed pinnacle of ninja-hood. With just a few words, he totally massacred Ren's confidence without even trying. Truly, a killer without a peer.

If just a few words could change this much, Ren realized that no matter how much he tried to keep things in line, it simply would not work.

Ch46. A bit too much

If Ren thought that Ino was bad, then he was certainly not prepared for how fussy Hinata got when she saw his injured state. He got scolded like a misbehaving child.

Ren's head snapped toward the voice, only for his stomach to sink when he saw Kisame freaking Hoshigaki and Itachi fucking Uchiha slowly approaching them as if they owned the place, red-clouded clocks and all.

"What in the actual fuck is wrong today with my luck?" Ren couldn't help but whine under his nose. This was starting to get ridiculous. At this point, Tsunade had probably better luck than him.

Ch43. Eating well today

Ren was halfway through his chakra reserves, had only two shadow clones left, and Yagura was in front of him, angrier than ever and desiring nothing more than to rip him into shreds.

Admittedly, he was not a very happy camper currently.

In the same straightforward fashion, Yagura once more rushed at Ren who started throwing kunai not at him, but at the ground in front of him, forcing him to run in a zig-zag pattern to avoid the explosions.

Ch42. Monster

Kaito jumped away while Ren spat a wind bullet at Yagura, causing him to dodge. This brought Ren a few seconds, just enough for him to unseal six special sealing tags and scatter them in the wind.

Abruptly, shadow clones appeared in the place of every single sealing tag and Ren almost keeled over from using so much chakra at once. He didn't have the chakra reserves for six shadow clones. But fortunately, he did have a full Chakra Storage Seal that covered the cost of four clones.

Ch41. Fighting a mad jinchuuriki

In the anime, it always seemed so slow. The jinchuuriki needed to gather the red and blue bubbles, condense them into a purple ball, and then either eat it and shoot it or shoot it. It took a while on the screen.
