Mini art dump

A couple of things I’ve finished the last day or so! I slowed down a little yesterday because of a mini stomach bug but I’m back on track today!

I plant to try and finish the last one of my rewards for February and then continuing on my queue! I’ve gotten into a really good habit of enforced work hours and starting my day super early and shockingly, it’s been working for me! Only took me 25 years to start getting tired at midnight 🤪

Loved this character for Scales reward!! 🥺🧡 I don’t get to draw plush a lot and I’m feeling like some plush commissions next month mayhaps...👀

TIMELAPSE - LxianDutchie commission

The commissioner asked for a 'laughing maniacally with hands shrugged' kind of pose and although this angle and pose is tough, I think it turned out cute! Definitely need to practice more angles and poses like this in the future though, I am trying to break out of 'simple dog standing facing left' kinda thing hahah.

TIMELAPSE - My new pothos!

Doodle of my gal Ruby and my new pothos from a couple weeks ago! This piece in total only took  me about 30 minutes but I love how cute and cartoony it turned out! I've been getting a lot more loose with my lines lately, making my stuff look a little more exaggerated sometimes...honestly I don't mind it for the chibi related things!

POTHOS!!!!! (Process)

I needed to transfer my other plant icon to my plant account so I wanted another plant related icon for my main. Who better than soft boy Snooze!! He’s SO EXCITED about that new leaf, bless his heart.🧡🪴

There was a TON of lighting and line edits I tried with this. Blurs, chromatic Aberation, gradient maps. And of course upping the saturation overall for a brighter look 👀

Finished and the process of this piece! Lots of lighting tweaks and experimenting! I always feel like I learn more every time I draw and sometimes even I forget the steps to get to an end product 🤣

TIMELAPSE - Amanafeline Commission

Okay so I started drawing this one while on call with some friends and I got a little distracted talking while shading and THIS was the result. A more detailed shading/painted look, but I'm totally here for it. I've been pushing lighting on my pieces a lot more lately and this was amazing practice! They wanted a simple pattern background and sometimes those are the hardest ones! x3 (trying to make it all look cohesive, etc)

TIMELAPSE - Celeste Reward

Sometimes you draw something and your mind is blown by how well the lines turned out in that one stroke. I found that I ran into this with my sketch...which turned out SUPER WELL for some reason. So I kinda ran with it! Overall, I loved how this looks and the background I had no initial thoughts except for that I wanted it to be nature-y and it turned out looking a little fantasy storybook and I'm not mad about it. Tried a couple new lighting tricks...might be making a little tutorial on that...

TIMELAPSE - Lion King Sona

Timelapse for my little exploration and style replication of TLK!! the second movie is my favorite and although I loved my lion king sona in Outlander style, I wanted to try my hand at her being drawn a little more feminine. Plus, lionesses are GORGEOUS and its an excuse to draw them.

Replicating this style was a lot of fun and tbh I kinda want to do it again sometime!

Good morning everyone! As my first month having changed up my icon reward tiers, here’s 3/4! (I’ll update this with the fourth as soon as it’s done) the winning background for the poll was Valentine’s themed!

I think they turned out super cute! It really gave me the opportunity to speed up my workflow and I definitely can see myself opening up for more of these monthly slots moving forward! :3

Any time I get to draw a cat, and a friend of mine at that... beyond words how much that means to me that friends want their characters by me ;___; I love how this one turned out, calicos are my favorite to color in and I adore how the detail in this turned out. ESPECIALLY the studs on the jacket...oh boy HAHA.

Badge commission for an absolutely gorgeous character and suit...one of my crushes FOR SURE. I really tried to push the shading on this one a little but I've learned that sometimes simpler is better when it comes to badges and how they print/read in person. Overall, I loved how this turned out! They ended up wanting a badge that was double sided and it was my first time doing that but I'm kinda obsessed and want to do more! c:
