Holy Lawd

For the first time in recent memory I got a decent night's sleep, which like, holy crap I needed it. I jumped out of bed, made breakfast, cleaned up the kitchen, all those things normal people are capable of, and now I can actually work on AC and EF paintings not on borrowed energy. Hallelujah is all I can say to that. Praise be sleep!

A story about a very sick kitty:

Several days ago my roommate's cat Thatcher began having episodes where he'd meow and drool. I brought this to my roommate's attention but she said 'he's just a drooly cat'. I knew this was no ordinary drooling. When he started involuntarily peeing I pointed this out, too. Finally when I managed to get a video of him having some kind of fit she saw that he was very sick and took him to the vet. They took blood and sent him home.

Incredible Sinus Garbage!

I've been feeling gross and headachy since TFF and it's been really slowing me down--daily headache and pain and pressure every time I spoke. Sinus/cold meds didn't help at all so I did a sinus wash and two HUGE blobs of dehydrated mucus came out of my face. UGH. I'm going to have to take into account that planes will now always give me sinus infections and nothing but a neti pot is going to work on it.
