New 52 Origin of the Giant Penny!
Someone in the comments of the last video pointed out that I neglected to mention the New 52 origins of the giant penny. I'm kind of sad that I forgot about it because I really enjoyed how it played into the story. Basically, Batman is just starting out his crime fighting career when Riddler takes control of the entire city. Lucius Fox then rigs up a giant penny statue outside of Wayne Enterprise to act as a conductor that blocks Riddler's signal. Really cool stuff!

So I made a quick and dirty PDF that goes over what I found and uses full pages of the issue in question in case you wanted to read it for yourself! Here's a before and after shot of the work I did on the video thumbnail. I really wanted the t-rex and penny to stand out, so I went and manually colored them in with a brighter green and bronze respectively to help them pop out of the background and become easier to see. Still a work in progress, but I think it's getting there. Just a little glimpse at a bit of the work we put in at each level of the show!
