WIP: Halfway through and getting to the pose-change!

First, thanks for all the birthday wishes on my last post!

I've officially made it to the halfway point of the animation. It's purely animation though, I haven't done any effects or lighting quite yet. I have plans to have the usual juice FX and to play around with the shading a bit. But saving that for last will save me tweaking it while I'm working on the animation

Off day: It's my birthday!

I was going to do a WIP update today but my family came over to my house and told me today was my birthday. I totally lost track of time and thought it was tomorrow. They took me out to get food and we just hung out for the day which was nice and relaxing. As a result I didn't get to render a video out so I snuck a screenshot in of my current progress. WIP: Progress report

Just dropping some of my progress here. Not much to say about what I'm doing that I wasn't already doing before, other than I'm not liking the camera movement and how still some shots are. Like I said in the last post I'll likely go back and fancy up the camera and body motion a bit to compensate for how "still" hentai/anime is. But using this still approach lets me rapidly animate. WIP: Actual animation to show you!

This was supposed to be yesterdays preview so now that the installation is done I'm posting it today!

Turns out all that updating I did yesterday still didn't fix the hands. I ended up going back into making and just making his hands the default size then increasing them in studio using KKPE. It's a bit of a hacky solution and it means if you replace the male you will need to shrink the hands back down in KKPE if it looks too big.

WIP: Bug fixing and patches

Looks like it's finally time for me to update. While working on the animation I noticed the males hands kept getting bigger and bigger every time I loaded a new character over him or toggled IK. I figured the cause would be my outdated ABMX version. So I went to update it, which required an updated KKAPI which required an updated Bepinx, which broke a lot of my older mods.

So I decided to hit it with the updater to see if I could just patch the problem away by using the latest HF patch....

WIP: Getting started

Starting on my next commission~

I spent most of the day doing a lot of setup since this particular animation will have quite a bit of pose-shifting in it. So the groundwork had to be layed out and every part of the characters had to be moveable. It's why I didn't bother rendering out anything since not even a second of actual animation has been done.

Full Nelson Yelan : Scene Data + Animation

Finally done! The Holidays got in the way a bit but I managed to squeeze it out last night!

~VERY IMPORTANT: When you load a new character in, they will likely look like a butchered mess. Just make sure you load them in, SAVE and then RELOAD the scene you just saved. it will fix the problem. I have no idea why that happens but it's a problem with this specific scene.~

WIP: Full Nelson Yelan - Pose shift

The legs looked out of place so they've been included into the males grip.

Getting the pose to work was actually quite a struggle but I like the pose a lot more this way so it was worth the effort. Looks more like a real full-nelson scene!

WIP update: Dirty Dishes - Pose shift and preparing for final stretch!

WIP: Dirty dishes - Pushing the animation and focusing on expression!

I made a bunch of progress yesterday and today. Actually quite a bit more than you see here but this is as far as I got with expressions.

The plan is for the thrusting to speed up over time until he's doing some backbreaking work on her. I want to animate her booty as well so I might have to move his hand to prevent the clipping that's already happening.

Got around to starting the next animation. Like before this one was a lot of setup using folders and the like. But I think it typically results in smoother movement.

Quick Animation: Pullups! - Animation + Scene Data

Since I finished Ganyu, I wanted to animate her and workout animations are great for practice and plenty of reference exists for lots of exercises.

Genshin Character Release 01: Ganyu!

Ganyu is done! Decided to put off patching the rest of the characters in favor of releasing the one I'm working on.

I think she came out good. She still very much looks like Ganyu, while still reflecting my art style. 


I also made 3 body types for her, Modest, Lewd and Hentai.

Each one upping the thickness further and further. In the previews I'm using Modest for the moon scene and Lewd for the desk scene.

Character WIP: Genshin Impact - Ganyu!

I hurt my hand earlier today so animating was painful. Character making is a lot easier to do with just one hand, albeit a lot slower.

Halloween! Get Spook'd: Animation + Scene Data

This was actually another commission I got from a user from the KK discord (forgot to ask if he wanted to remain anonymous so I'll assume yes)

Essentially they just wanted the referenced animation as a scene-data so it was nice an easy to make. I started on short loops! I then modified it a bit further. Really goes to show how a bit of reference goes a long way when learning to animate!

Mating press WIP update: Expressions, juice FX, motion, etc

I'd say the animation is finally nearing completion.

Most of the quirks have been worked out. Besides tweaking the juice FX a bit more the rest of the animation is basically, well, just animating. As well as the grunt work of fixing clipping issues. 

So this will probably be my final WIP update on this piece. Next you hear of it should be the actual release. Just gotta put my nose to the grindstone and get it done.

I think I got the leglock looking pretty good so I'm more confident in sharing the WIP~

Also the first part of the climax has been animated! It's going to go on for a bit longer than you see here. Basically I'm going to create what is starting to become my standard "mess".

EXPRESSIONS!

Bremerton is starting to look a bit more animated finally. I'm having fun pulling the eyebrows around, I think it pushes the expressions further. I do feel like this is a weak point for me however. Like with my lighting/shading studies you might see expression studies come from me in the future.
