First look at the big new feature!

Today I spent all day working on the new feature that lets you start a pron studio! Apparently pron isn't allowed on patreon (which is why I'm writing pron) so I had to blur the images. I'm quite proud of what I achieved and I wanted to share it with you all. I'm keeping some scenes and stars a surprise!

New structure + update

Hi! I just wanted to show you all the new game structure and what I've been doing over the past days. Left is the original game, right is the new seperate file with all the sex scenes in it. Left is mostly mechanics now. Both are fast and responsive now and it's fun to work with again. It was a shit job as I had to copy paste all the content seperately from one to the other, but I like the new structure.

Hi! With progress on moving the game into two files and thus 'saving' miss-adventures, I'm kind of excited to start adding a new feature again this coming week. I have a couple of ideas to add and if things go right they'll all be added eventually, but I wanted to check with you all which one you'd prefer to have me work on first. This will go alongside the content writing which will always continue, but I like having a feature to work on.

More good news

The method I found yesterday of combining two stories into one seems to work and I've now started the process of implementing it on Miss-Adventures. This means tons of boring copy-paste work, but with every passage I take out of the original game, it becomes faster again which is amazing.

Apart from the performance increase, it also allows me to organize everything way better. I can separate the actual game mechanics from the content now which will make development so much more pleasant...

Good news!

Good news everyone! I found some promising software that can compile multiple Twine stories into one, which could be saving Miss-Adventures. We're not there yet, but I tested it and it seems to work. I still have to test it on the actual game and there's still a lot to figure out but it looks like a promising way to fix the problem of twine slowing down. 

I'll be looking for a new place to host the game as well, as I'm reaching the file size and file number limit of itch.io (500mb ...

Hi all! It's july and that means any $10 and up patron can send me their favorite celebrities again and they will be added to the game! I know I haven't posted much lately, I took a little break after the last update. I fixed and added a few things here and there, but I'm going back to it properly tomorrow.

Spent quite a lot of time on the game the past few days! The next update will be an exciting one. As most of you voted for bootycalls, they are now about 80% done. That means the following:

First look at new house + work menus

After the sidebar improvements, I figured it was time to improve the parts of the game where you probably spend a lot of time: Home and work. I switched from text links to image links to really make things more slick and visual instead of just a big bunch of words.

First look: UI improvements

In between writing scenes, I'm now working on fixing the game's UI and making it look less like an old text adventure and more like an actual game. 

So far I've made the sidebar look a lot prettier and improved the contacts / booty call menu by adding greyed out pictures of the celebs you haven't unlocked yet. Next up is making the home and work menus look prettier. I want everything to be more visual. More pictures and icons, less text.

Just wanted to give you all a little update on what's coming in the next few weeks/months, hopefully. Our country is slowly lifting the lockdown. That means my girlfriend can get back to work and go out to see friends, which means I finally get my writing days back. First of all, thanks to all patrons, both new and old! You're all amazing :-) There were a few skimmers when I started out, but what's left now are the real supporters and I'm very thankful for each and every one of you, no matter if it's a single dollar or a tenner.
