That's ridiculous you'd think, but it is possible on a totalitarian world in the KYTHERA universe. Although the central government (the Dominion) is somewhat benevolent in its approach to its subjects, there can always be places where the scepter of power is wielded by corrupt officials.

New Goals

Hello all,

First of all, thank you all for your support so far! I've recently hit the 30-patreon mark, which is awesome! I think it went better than I expected for the first few weeks, but this is just the beginning!

Because the goals I've set for the monthly incentives for me to work on the comic and illustrations are already beyond what I've set them to be, I've changed them to more feasible and realistic ones. Since I'm already releasing at least one exclusive illustration per ...

Violation of House Rules

KYTHERA has some strict house rules to obey. One of which forbids the revealing of skin in commonly shared areas, which is strictly enforced by the captain. Even though the uniforms are quite revealing, they show no skin. It is however unclear if the house rules apply when skin is revealed in private quarters, but when the door is kept unlocked, it might well be a in a commonly shared area! Jilly looks like she has to go into some more detail with these sections of the house rules...

Penal Law

In the world of KYTHERA, there are different methods of dealing with crime than you're used to. Somehow it's also more acceptable as a humanitarian method. Instead of just 'doing time' (a.k.a. being held hostage until the set penal time is over), there is also an alternative where the convicted is sentenced to labour or social services.

Dropbox?

At the moment, I'm also in the process of setting up a Dropbox account for all the files posted here. The will mean that they will be accessible in a centralised manner, in full size and organised in advance.

With the next comic page update on KYTHERA, all supporters will receive a link with password that gives access to all pages and illustrations released on Patreon. It however means I'll have to set up a Dropbox Pro account, but I think this is worth the effort for all of you suppo...

Dominion Orderly Forces (test)

A little illustration I wanted to do of the D.O.F. (Dominion Orderly Forces). The Dominion is the all-powerful authority (or so they claim) in the KYTHERA universe, that control the politics, laws, economics and eventually everybody's well-being and lives. They rule with the premise of wealth, free trade, but limit any political opposition (in fact, they have abolished democracy). Woe on those those who oppose the Dominion!

No painting please!

Someone either forgot to read a notice that there won't be any painting today, or that someone just happened to be the victim of some undisclosed authoritarian figures (more on those later). If so, the punishments in the KYTHERA universe might just be focussed heavily on the sexual level. That's something to keep the mind busy, isn't it?
