It's been a long time coming, but Chapter III PT I is finally finished! As I said before, I wanted to do a full release for you guys, but I had to change my mind due to upcoming events. I hope you enjoy the PT I though! Thank you all for the support you have given me and this game!

- 1,484 Renders (Start/Prologue - 224, CH I - 1,140, CH 2 - 1,848)
- 32 Animated Renders (CH I - 5, CH 2 - 25)
- 8,473 Lines of Code (Start/Prologue - 1,297, CH I - 5,107, CH II - 9,200)
- New characters!
- Added SubscribeStar icon and button in the Main Menu and About Menu!
- Fixed some grammar issues from previous Chapters.
- More... spicy scenes ;)!
- A SPECIAL EVENT!
- Some Easter Eggs!
- Hella memes and references!

Alright everyone, if you've read the announcement in my Discord, then you already know, but to everyone else:
After much debate with my mind about Chapter III, I've decided to cancel it.......... snickers... but no. I've decided to split Chapter III into two parts. I know... I know... but in actuality, I had no idea that just the first half was loaded with a lot of content... and I'm still working on Section 9 at the moment.
I've been really slacking with making progress with time, and I want you all to experience what Chapter III has to offer so far! This is also mostly due to the fact that there is one more training exercise that requires my presence for all of January. Continuation of Chapter III won't resume until early February.
You can expect Chapter III PT I to be released for Patrons/Subscribers hopefully before the end of this week, and then a week later for everyone! I do apologize to everyone hoping or wanting a complete release, believe me, I know... but I want to at least thank all of you guys for playing the game, supporting it even, and just being all-around awesome!

I asked this before when working on Chapter II, but I want to ask this again, for a few reasons.
One, my work schedule has been very unpredictable outside the scheduled field exercises that passed. It's been hard to actually sit down and work on the game, but I'm pushing through, lmao.
Two, because of the mention above, I personally feel bad that progress has been slow/back-tracked a bit, which in turn halts your anticipation of a full release. However, I am more than fine with whichever people are comfortable with. I will say that I did plan on doing a half-release (hopefully) sometime before/after Thanksgiving.
I want to hear what you guys feel though, so please let me know down below on the poll and any comments you want to share!

So far, Chapter III has a LOT of renders in just one section... progress is slow, but it is going! Current goal is to have it completed or almost completed before Thanksgiving... BUT for now, everyone can now finally see the FULL background of Chapter III's new menu! Enjoy!

I want to first thank those before me that gave their lives to protect this country. Those that weren't able to make it home back to their families, their loved ones... all of them served to keep this country free. I salute each and every one of them for that sacrifice.
I've been currently serving for a little over seven years now, between the Marines (previously) and Army (currently). Regardless of branch, regardless of time in service, regardless of rank... every single one that is currently serving, those that retired, and those that have passed earn my respect. Thank you all that have came before me and are with me now.

For you guys, it might have only felt like a few days... for me and the others... it felt like an eternity... a grueling, torturous eternity... in a sense, lmao. Well, these coming up weeks may be a little hectic in preparation for January; I'll be sure to do a post before then as well.
BUT, as of now... I can finally get back to working on Chapter III for you guys, and release it sometime soon, but we'll see. I want to thank you all for your patience and support thus far... even if you aren't a Patron, new Patron, continuing Patron, or a retired Patron... you all have stuck with me, and I am extremely grateful.

Much like when I had to take some time away from Chapter II, I must do the same with Chapter III. I'm required back in the field Monday, and won't be back till the 9th (hopefully). I know, I know... I will say progress has been a little slow, but I will do my best to finish Chapter III as soon as possible. Things are getting really interesting though! - Changed the Social Link buttons at the top of the Main Menu screen.
- Added the Itch.io button/link with the others on the Screen, as well as in the About Section.
- Game Mode selection scene has been removed.
- You can now select your Game Mode from the Options Menu. (Still a work in progress, but you should no longer feel like you have to start all over for a Mode)
- Fixed (hopefully) the issue with some players not seeing some of the Choice Menus.
- Karaoke Unskippable Scenes can now be "skipped". (Right before the characters sing, you will be given the option to either skip their songs, or watch. Watching the scene will put you in the Unskippable scenario. Skipping will cut to where they finish singing completely.)
- Some minor spelling fixes. (Ashamed of myself, I misspelled Chimaera... some of you may know what that reference is for...)

The shroud of the darkness has fallen... begun, Chapter III, has.... Anyway, finally home for a little while before I have to go back out to the field again in November. During that time, I will begin working on Chapter III! I will release a 0.2.1 patch which should hopefully fix some issues with some menus not popping up properly, as well as some minor other goodies... stay tuned!

After a long while of being in the field, I think it's safe to say I will finally be able to come, lmao. Few of you may or may not relate, but to me, being in the field blows... I can at least enjoy these next two and a half weeks of peace before having to go back out again for another 10 days... in that time, I will be working on Chapter III as much as I can. Being in the field has given me some more insights... thank you all for your patience!

As some of you know, I am in the military, and duty calls me to the field for about 9 or so days... What this Chapter includes:
- Lots of spelling errors fixed from the Prologue onward!
- Good bit of grammar mistakes fixed from the Prologue onward!
- Temporary removal of Autosave (testing some things with the unskippable scenes)

First let me apologize for not providing you some content you guys were graciously paying for. I'm going to provide you all some renders to hopefully get you excited for Chapter II! Be sure to join the DISCORD to view these renders in the Patron Access channel!
Chapter II will be 17 Sections long, that's two more than Chapter I! I provided five renders for Sections 1-16, as the last one is a preview of Chapter III, in which no sneak peaks will be provided (sorrys!); that's still 80 renders to browse though!. Good day to everyone! I understand that you all are patiently waiting for the release of Chapter II. Believe me, I'm eagerly excited to release it to you all in due time! It's been a very "eventful" two weeks in the field... yes, not only am I making a Visual Novel, but I'm also serving the country...
Currently, nearly ALL the renders are completed for the Chapter! Just some onesies and twosies needed made or updated. Initially I was hoping to release the game this weekend, but at the moment that doesn't seem possible (sad face). But don't worry, the release dates are nearly upon us! Right now, just working on the dialogue for the scenes. Currently, I am in Section 10 of 17 (that's two more sections than Chapter I).
Firstly, Patron Release will be the first to be announced. Once that has been confirmed, you can see a Public Release about a week or so later! I can guarantee you that Chapter II will be a good chunk longer than Chapter I! You can also see a LOT more animations, some more environments, and even some MORE characters! Speaking of characters, you may realize that some a good chunk of the characters in the first Chapter weren't really fleshed out as much. Not to worry, because now nearly EVERY girl will have a LOT more to them, INCLUDING some of the new ones!
Below, you can get a view of some of the new characters to come into the Chapter!
I would also like to announce that there will be some bonus characters made by two fellow Discord members and Androids that can be seen in the Chapter! I would like for everyone to give them a hand, as it was their first time making characters.
Again, I want to apologize to everyone and anyone that's been waiting for this Chapter to be released. You can see me regularly in my Discord, so be sure to stop by that as well!
