I've added an "archive" section to the FilmCow High Quality Downloads folder (see the pinned post for the link!) This archive contains a number of extremely old projects of mine, many of which pre-date the name "FilmCow." These are live-action projects, the majority of which were movies I made with my family during various winter breaks.

These are far from masterpieces, but they might provide insight into both the development of FilmCow and the early 2000s era of no-budget internet film...

Starting with "Llamas with Hats," when Chris and I would record audio for a cartoon we would also do a run-through of the script where Chris would improvise his own version of each line. Most of these takes would not be used, but there would always be a couple of bits I preferred to the original lines.

The return of "Spatula Madness: Dividends"

Quick update to the post I made on December 22nd. I received an e-mail a couple hours ago from YouTube informing me that my legal counter-notification was successful, and that my video "Spatula Madness: Dividends" has been restored. The copyright strike has also been removed from my channel.

Hopefully that's the end of it!

You may or may not have noticed, but as of today "Spatula Madness: Dividends" has been forcibly removed from YouTube due to a bogus copyright claim. I am currently in the process of trying to get it restored.

I thought it was important for my most recent video "Carla Copface" to have an authentic VHS look. I've tried various filters before and did not particularly like them, they all felt vaguely "retro" but didn't do a great job actually mimicking the specific qualities of the format.

VHS Quality Shadowstone Park

I've been putting together a VHS recording / capture setup for some upcoming projects, and to test the setup I recorded the first episode of "The Fall of Shadowstone Park" onto VHS and then captured the results.
